Devdas - Americans thought Madhuri was more pretty

🥱 I gave Devdas (with Madhuri, Aish, SRK) to a coworker to watch this weekend. I also showed a picture of Madhuri and Aish from the Dola Re Dola Song. A few of my coworkers knew who Aish was already, since they have seen her face on T.V. and some international films. 5 people said clearly hands down that Madhuri looked more beautiful than Aish from the Dola Re Dola picture. And they were all white people. That was kind of shocking and interesting to me. 😆 My coworkers also knew Aish was a Miss World, but that did not change their opinion.

Anyway, my coworker loves Bollywood films. I can't wait to see her reaction on who was better in Devdas - Aish or Madhuri. She was kind of indifferent to SRK by the way, didn't think he was that good-looking. 🤣 I will surely post my coworker's reaction to Devdas in the days to come!

People in the west are not as impressed with Ash's beauty as South Asians are because Ash is fair and blue eyes---it's a been there seen that for them..That's why they are crazy about Freida Pinto--she's an exotic beauty.

Btw Madhuri is gorgeous and she looked amazing in Devdas!

😕 I fail to see how Freida is so exotic and beautiful. Am I missing something?

My point was people in the west think Freida is gorgeous because she looks exotic to them. Ash, though VERY beautiful, looks like any other westerner they've seen!

Personally I don't think Frieda is very pretty--she's average..

See Westerns like striking features and not standard beauty like Aish. Sometimes to the Westerns if u are perfect you are boring. So they like it when u have a weird feature or something. AM not saying Maduri has weird features but u get the idea. Look at American's Next Top Model, the standard beauties never make it to the top.

Look at this model from America's Next Top Model. She wouldn't be considered a standard beauty. But she was the judges favorite because of her unique features

And boy were the judges right. When the standard beauties take pics on the show they fall flat on their face. And the contestants like I posted above took awesome pics, and her photos are always interesting to look at.

I disagree with american next top model not being beautiful. Eva the diva was so beautiful and so divalious that she won the show.

Aish was most beautiful in her 20's that's what I think and me being a huge fan of aish. But when she hit the 30's, she still pretty but not like amazing beauty like she had in her 20's. She entered hollywood in her 30's.

Madhuri dixit is a different case because her beauty never fades away, it reminds the same. What attracts me to madhuri is the passion that she expresses herself whether it's moving eyebrows or just a simple dance step. Even madhuri said her husband doesn't like bollywood movies but he LOVED Devdas

First of all when did I say ANTM wasn't beautiful?

And second I didn't say that girl won, I said she was the judge's favorite. I don't remember if she won or not.

LOL My mom is always like why this and this girl made it to the top 3 of the ANTM, and am like MOM it's not always about who is the most prettiest lol

I haven't watch the show for so long. But I remembered back then, they had a great taste in beauty because Eva was their favorite and she was the most beautiful contestant they had in my opinion so when she won, it wasn't surprise to me
