In a rare deal, former lovers Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra will perform together in the razzmatazz of Las Vegas
Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra, who have stopped working together for years, will come together for a show in Las Vegas on December 18. The duo will also be accompanied by heartthrob Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif.
This will be Askhay and Priyanka's second show on stage together, after they did a small gig in Hong Kong in 2008. The actors came together after a four-year gap then and now will be seen next in Las Vegas this December.
Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra have shared cold vibes ever since the rumours of their relationship began doing the rounds six years ago, fuelled by some candid revelations by PC's then-secretary Prakash Jaju, jilted by his dismissal.
At that time, wife Twinkle made Akshay promise her that he will never work with Priyanka again. From then on, Akshay and Priyanka have avoided each other at all social events.
It was only recently that the actors have started exchanging pleasantries with one another. Last year, during a rehearsal for an awards function, Akshay and Priyanka crossed each other and one spotted them having a 10-minute conversation.
Although one is not sure if they will be performing together, they will have a finale with the entire cast together on stage. A source says, "The creatives are yet being worked out regarding who will be doing what number, and with whom. The actors were out of country shooting for their respective commitments and now once everyone is back, the team will sit with the actors and finalise everything."
The event management firm, Carving Dreams, which is organising this rendezvous, confirms, "Yes Hrithik, Priyanka, Akshay and Katrina are performing in Las Vegas. But it is too early to divulge any other details."
