Ahh one woman who is actually beautiful! Her smileee <3 And being lucky enough to have met her, I can say that she is such a wonderful person! Sooo down to earth! Love her. Wish she was doing more films :(

Madhuri Dixit....I was never her fan....I liked her but not crazy about her. She was a great dancer right from the beginning. Who can forget her Ek Do Teen! She had the entire South Asia dancing to her tune with that one song!

The first movie of hers I saw was Tridev sometime in the late 80s....and she wasn't anything fabulous. She was good....her songs were chartbusters....she had the most beautiful smile and the perfect face....looked similar to Suchitra Sen...the traditional South Asian beauty with an egg face, large eyes, sweet smile and such a great nose! LOL!

The highlight I think of her career are the chartbuster songs....from Ek Do Teen to Tu Shayar Hai to Dhak Dhak to Didi Tera Devar to Choli Ke Peeche (and my most favorite song from Sailaab...Humko Aaj Kal Hai Intezaar! What a performance!)....she danced like a dream and she had amazing screen presence! When I think of Madhuri I think of her songs...her dance performances....when it comes to roles I can only remember her in Mrityudand or Pukar or Devdas which were towards the end of her career....it's sad that when she truly started to become a great actress she had to retire!! With Sridevi I can think of ChaalBaaz, Tofa, Sadma, Gumrah, Lamhe, Chandni or even Judaai...where she was fabulous! With Madhuri it's just her songs!!

one of the most graceful actress of our times, she is the only actresso whose dance hasn't bored me yet!!

I love Madhuri Dixit, I don't think she's overrated at all I have loved watching her films especially her dancing in Devdas I think she proved the critics wrong that she can act. I loved watching her acting but Choli Ke Peeche was WOW I didn't even know the meaning of the song until this year but her item songs were fantastic full blast dancing she is a brilliant dancer.

The best thing I like about Madhuri is her expressions. I think an actress is only good when they express their emotions really well which Madhuri is excellent at. The way she rolled her eyes in the song Ankhiyan Milon Kabhi Ankhiyan Churao from Raja, I still remember how effortlessly she was able to do!

fabulous actress.loved her since childhood.and her acting skills are just as good as her dancing.done plenty roles to prove that she's THE QUEEN of indian cinema.

Can honestly say that she is the sexiest thing that's ever happened to Bollywood.

She was an amazing actress (Abodh! what a freaking debut), she danced amazingly, had amazing expressions, had a very nice voice...

there are few ways to describe how legendary she is :D

Madhuri is one of the best actresses that bollywood has ever had. Even though Rani is my favorite actress, I must say that Madhuri tops every actress! Her stage presence is one that is incomparable to anyone else's! She has that very sweet persona. She's a fabulous dancer. One of the best we have in our industry. Her acting speaks for itself. Phenomenal actress! Not only that, her personality is one of a kind. She comes from a very sweet and sincere family (I know her sister and her sister's family personally)! She has that charming personality that very few actresses can carry! I love Madhuri and really do miss her in movies!

madhuri dixit was, is and will always be one of my favourite actresses. yes, her dance overshadowed her acting skills but that doesn't mean that the latter was 'not that good' in any way. she's done a variety of films, right from masala flicks like DTPH to films like mrityudand and lajja. one of my favourite madz films is anjaam (underrated, IMO) - the film belonged to her right from the beginning.

Madhuri is my all time favorite and the best actress Bollywood has ever had. The actresses today come no where close to her. Madhuri was (and still is) multi-talented - phenomenal actress and incredibly graceful dancer. Not only did she have great screen presence, but she is also a timeless beauty. IMO Madhuri is the perfect example of a Bollywood actress and I wish we had more actresses like her today.
