Madhuri Dixit - Discuss!

She use to be one of my favorite actress. Loved her for her energy on screen and her famous dance numbers. She is a good actress, but I feel sometimes she is overrated for her acting. She is good actress, but have seen many more that are better. :)

A decent but at the same time quite an overrated actress she is. Her even most ordinary or mediocre performance is hailed up as the world's greatest treat to watch or something. Never understood her charm either, though I too like her, but not to the same extent as many others. Give me Juhi Chawla over her any day. ; )

What a true Legend!! Loved everything about her from her onscreen persona to her offscreen demeanour. Very versatile also.. she easily played subtle, flamboyant and many other characters with different shades. She had a great range as an actress and had such a towering onscreen presence that even heroes looked liked side characters in front of her. She has done so many flicks where she has overshadowed the male lead..even in mediocre scripts and people have only remembered her peroformances! Men were nuts over her.. She was such a great sex symbol of her times.. with a beautiful smile, poise and a hint of mystery. Even when she has worked with the younger actresses in movies she has always been able to hold her own.. l equally loved her and Karishma in Dil toh pagal hai.. and I am a big fan of her performance in Devdas.. loved loved loved her as Chadramukhi.. her adas, expressions and dances were phenomenal.

She had great screen presence. Thats about it.

I like her dancing more than her acting skills...she had a wonderful screen presence. I dont think she deserved the best actress for dil to pagal hain... there was nothing great about her performance. i consider Sridevi a far better actress and dancer than Madhuri.

Honestly, I like her, I think she's a good actress, beautiful, done very nice movies, known for her dancing more than her acting skills.. and I enjoy her dancing alot, she's the best female dancer in bollywood according to me.. but I really think she's overrated as an actress!

I still LOVE her!! She was my first favourite actress....I was veryy little when HAHK came out, then Dil Tera Aashiq. And I've liked her since then.

The kind of attention Madhuri commanded in her time, no one can get there anymore...or at least hasn't yet. Like someone said above, when she used to be on screen, SHE would be the hero of the movie. She would get the most attention. And you gotta give that to her...bollywood's so male dominated otherwise.

No one can match up or even come close to her screen presence amongst today's actresses. She'd just shine through. And I think she's a talented actress too. She was a complete package, which is so rare these days. Acting, dancing, looks, charm, screen presence....she had it all.

Oh and her smile! The best smile in bollywood. lol. I remember when I was 6 or 7...I wanted to be like her. LOL. I was little then, so not my fault. 😆

Madhuri, Juhi and Kajol....these three ruled the 90s, and were and always will be my faves!

she used to be my fav actress! Sad, she is not doing that many movies anymore! I was SO excited for Aaja nachle! I actually liked it! :P
