and about Aisha, it was the.most.mindless.movie i have ever wasted my time watching. There was nothing there, no twists, no emotions, everything was predictable. the wardrobe was fantastic, but it was like sort of out of place, because that's not really India, now is it? And it was like a combination of clueless/that blonde movie with reese, cant remember the name. sorry for the off topic.

I totally agree with this! Sonam does get it right most of the times, but somewhere she lacks that distinctiveness to take it a step forward. But, I still credit her for bringing about some change, the fashion scene in bollywood isn't something to rave about, filled with wannabes and fake fashionistas who even when are decked in the best of designer clothes end up looking like a distaster.. Sonam isn't a fashion victim, she just needs a bit more distintiveness in her style. But she does have it in her to carry everything gracefully and somewhere I would say she has the edge also.

With a bit more of a push towards more innovativeness Sonam can get even better and then emerge as a true style icon..

I dont know about Kangana being a fasionista...the only time, she looked well dressed to me was when she wore Indian a few times. I dont know if having unkempt hair means means she has style or the "edge" because most of the clothes I've seen her in have been knock-off which she doesn't wear particularly well.

About Sonam, I agree with the above. She may not be a Fasionista but she's mostly well dressed. And she always says she shops on the high st and at flea markets too.

The prime example of money cant buy style is Gauri khan. I cant imagine she shops anything but designer and she's always poorly dressed.

Kinda agree with Shobha .. tho she was quite harsh whn she sed Deeps dun even stand a chance for Miss Dombivli😆
Deeps is beautiful n very graceful but sumwhr she lacks pizzazz .. she appears like a pale , expressionless porcelain..... she is so not spontaneous😛

As for Sonam ... she digs into designer wears so does everyone but yh it cum across more on her 😆
She deffo has a sense of style n no one can take tht frm her.. but sumtimes it gets irritating to see her all dressesd up like a queen even for smallest do .. i for once wud like to see her simple , toned down n no "hey look at the brand i m wearing " look 😆

hmmm being poorly dressed is a fashion sense...even if it may be perceived as a bad one...

About Kangna - I'm such a fan of her --- I love that she doesn't try TOO hard to look quiet ok and that she looks like an alien most of the times in a very good way -

As for Deepika - she's pretty but she often lacks charisma & magnetism.

Sonam has a very good fashion sense but it's a western (very often) one (nothing really ecclectic) and is from London/Paris/Milan/Madrid ....so we get it that she likes european designers.

And yes it's not HER fashion sense but more her PR/own crew's.

The way one carries an outfit is ten times more important than if it's from a known brand...An outfit has to reflect the personality of the person who wears it.....And one has to feel at ease in it....

Marion Cotillard is one actress I think who doesn't try too hard to look good and manage to....The same goes for Halle Berry....total stunner in a sexy but nnot cheap gown (Last Golden Globes awards).

Ency: Agreed, Kangana wears a lot of knock offs. But as a fashionista, you should be able to pull both off. Kangana just appears to be herself despite being clueless. Sonam on the other hand claims to get stuff from the street side too, but the lowest I've seen her go was a necklace from forever 21. She is almost always in Dior and channel even while doing charity. Anyone remember that pink dior gown she wore to breast cancer charity dinner or auction? Yikes! Sure, she pulls them off great, but she's starting to come off as a fashion victim.

Recently, Drew Barrymore wear a $ 50 dress with $ 700 shoes. Now thats being cleaver about fashion IMO.
