September 2nd is soo far away yet so close, I wanna see the film so badly. But I think I won't be able to see the film until EId :(

When was the discussion about who's on top. The topic was abt WAF and it was abt kajol discussing Kareena and Arjun.

You are the one who always goes off topic abt kareena and starting the comparisons.

PS kareena doesn't need a Khan to give a hit. Jab We Met is one example, another is KI which got a huge opening.

I am, in no way, gonna debate about who's at the top. I just want to say that Kajol has had hits without SRK too. Gupt, Dushman, HADMRH, PTHHT, etc. In fact Gupt was solely on her shoulders. As for KI being Kareena's hit...it was more Akki's "hit". In that sense, Kareena only has JWM to her hit list without the Khans, the Roshans and Kumars.

Kajol is one actress who doesn't need Srk to prove her talent.

Here are movie where she grown as an actress and without Srk

Dushman
Gupt (first female to win villianous award)
Fanaa(she got praised)
Dillagi
Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi with Jackie i think
Also with Anil, that Hum aap keh dil mei rehte hain
Humeesha( i think her and Saif shares great chemistry)

As for Rani, i loved her debut movie, i think she was very natural. Then she did Black (which had no Srk), Hum tum(No Srk), TRRP(think she had a good performance)

Both are talented actress and they aren't popular or good because of Srk and it's wrong to say they got the success because of Srk. As Srk also had flop movies in his career.

And @Zareena I don't think Dhusman was a hit. And Fanna has Amir in it. I talked about Khans not just SRk. And I was not saying Kajol needs Khans to prove she is talented. I was saying she needs Khan to get a hit. Why are people saying WAF is gonna flop, when she was in MNIK no such thing came up. Hmmmm

We were talking box office not talent. Kajol is talented and doesn't need Khans to prove that. But she does need the Khans to get a hit. HInt: We are Family

Kareena has other hits other than Jab We Met that doesn't have Khans in it, I just didn't list them all in the above post.

Both Kareena and Kajol need a khan in WAF to give a good opening

Q. Can We Are Family take a big opening as Arjun Rampal has ywo big hits in Housefull and Raajneeti behind him

A. Those films you mentioned opened well because of big stars like Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor. Arjun Rampal is not an opening star. We Are Family can still take an opening but will be more dependent on the Karan Johar brand and popularity of Kareena Kapoor.

Kajol had given performances and had success without Khan's, Such as with Anil Kapoor, Saif and Akki in Dillagi. with Ajay in Pyar to Honi hi tha. She was equally good in the movie. We said MNIK will be huge because both share amazing chemistry and you cannot just say because it has, it will be huge hit but because of Srk and Kajol. She is one of few actresses who refused her best friends movie KANK. And it's funny the character she was suppose to play in KANK, she will be playing in WAF, Maya. As for Dushman, she given powerpack performance and she got praised for the movie.

Oh come on...do you really think Bobby Deol can give a hit? 😆 And Akki was on a roll back then..most his movies open big. Plus, you know...KI only had a good opening, than it crashed as per all reports. And I still would blame that on Akki, not Kareena. That's why...hit or loss, to me, it was due to Akki....don't see anything fishy or biased in that, as I'm blaming Akki here, not KK.

Plus like I said..Kajol's given hits without the Khans.
