from what I've heard over the years, I've gotta say, AR Rahman's bg music is equally as nice as his soundtracks.

Also, Salim and Suleiman are great at bg music! Their bg for most of the Race movie was quite good...

and I'm not sure who made the bg music for DCH and TZP but IF its SEL, then i've gotta say, they do very well

Lagaan - The entire muvie had awsome bgm but my absolute fav is when at the end, aamir wins the match and the villagers rejoice and it starts to rain on them....an instrumental version of "ghanan ghanan" is played and it is AMAZING.

Swades: Awsome muvie...but the bgm in this particular scene is so beautiful...the scene itself is so adorable..and arr complements it wonderfully.

Vaaranam aayiram - The bgm starts at 3:29 when surya proposes to divya for marriage, and she says "i hate u". Its soo romantic and cute. Just before the song starts.

I usually like the back ground scores for SLB movies. Loved the scores of HDDCS, Black, Saawariya. I like the Dev-Chanda background scores from Dev D. Also, the ones for WUS..Fashion and Chandni Bar. There are many more I can't remember right now.

the one i recently heard & LOOVEEDDD IT wud be once upon a time in mumbai's background music! such a refreshing one...it keeps u hooked & its so classy. Amazing one. It's still playing in my head lol.
