While all the designers were well received by the swish set of Bangalore in attendance at the Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week the grand finale JJ Valaya really was all that people were waiting for. So much so, that almost the one-and-a-half-hour wait to the final show didn't seem to matter much to the fashion aficionados gathered for the show.
Prior to his show, it was time for one of the other biggesr fashion labels in the country, specialized in the wedding collection ' Neeru's ' to showcase their line of collection for the evening. Speaking about the collection, Ruchita, the daughter of designer duo Harish and Neeru, from the House of Neeru's, said, "Today, for this show, we have showcased a wide variety of embroidered sarees, which is from our bridal collection, and Anarkali suits. They have a huge demand all across the globe. We get a lot of our NRI clients seeking for this collection, which is why we have showcased it here in this show this time."
Setting the ramp ablaze for the Neeru's was the Bollywood star ' Aamna Sharif ' who walked as the show stopper. "We brought in Aamna Sharif this time, for we thought she would just be the right person to be the show stopper," said Ruchita. Aamna, however, felt equally delighted to have been a part of the show. "This is my first show in Bangalore, and it's always great to be a part of shows here, for people are very welcoming in Bangalore. I feel at home every time I come here in the city," said Aamna. Since its inception back in 1971, Neeru's has grown rapidly, establishing herself as a brand achieving grand success in the Indian ethnic industry. From a diverse range of ethnic finery like embroidered sarees, Indian silks, Lehanges, suits, bridal ensembles to traditional fashion jewelry and kids wear, Neeru's has been the quintessential example of a complete ethnic wear brand.
