Ranbir Kapoor , Asin : Missed by an inch or two!

Asin, the south star, who debuted in bollywood with the super hit flick 'Ghajini', opposite Aamir Khan, is doing well with a great flick underway with Salman Khan, in Sri Lanka.

Asin, who has been lucky to have starred with Salman Khan in her second bollywood flick, 'London Dreams', has again bagged the Anees Bazmi flick 'Ready', co starring Salman.

However, the actress has just about missed her chance to star opposite the young heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor.

According to the buzz going around, Asin was supposed to be offered a role opposite Ranbir Kapoor, in Anurag Basu's 'Silence'.

However, it was only due to her slightly short height, as compared to that of Ranbir's height, that she was not considered the perfect co-star for the chocolate boy star. The gal fell short just by an inch or two according to the required height.

Now, what can one say except that it's not everyday that one gets an offer to act opposite Ranbir Kapoor, but then there is something called luck in tinsel town too, and if everything goes well, Asin just might bag a great role opposite the hot and cute Ranbir in the future.
