One of the most unecessarily mocked movies in the history.. and I love mocking it too.. 70 mm blue film, neela neela and what not!! But, honestly when I watched this movie.. i was shocked.. it wasn't that bad.. Yup, Bhansali got carried away.. but there is some beauty in the movie too.. like all his movies.. I love the way bhansali has showcased moonlit nights..in some mystery town.. with Sakina running around with Raj!! Masha allah.. pretty song.. Dekho chand aaya.. when biru points towards sona when chand comes in the opposite direction.. that is soo cute!! Saawariya saawariya.. biru's towel dancing.. haha..I loved rani's lingo too.. which for better or for worse did get popluar..Loved the clock tower.. the lake with the pretty shikara boat.. loved Sona's lost and pretty eyes.. biru's dancing and paagalpan.. nice movie..!!

I actually quite liked the movie !!!

It was like reading a book...so the movie was paced like how a book is paced .....sort of with a fairy tale kinda backdrop as far as the backdrop was concerned !!!Different kinda cinema ...but lovely to watch !!!

This movie was so boring. It was also very superficial and hollow. All the emotions were completely on the surface, I never felt them.

I absolutely love Ranbir now but I didn't like him at all in this movie. His character was so OTT, it annoyed me a lot. I quite liked Sonam, though. She looked so gorgeous.

The film moved at a slow pace and I hated the ending, it was horrible! The only postive points to this film was the music which was great and the acting. Ranbir and Sonam were impressive in their first film, Salman didn't have much to do and Rani was a treat to watch!

B o r i n g. It took me literally a week to finish. I had to watch it in bits .. I didn't like the story, the acting was okay, not one of SLBs finest.

I have seen him behave like a control freak ,during behind the scenes ,when the first time the cast was introduced to the media(Mandira was the MOC).

The film was a reflection of his megalomania and pompousness...

well, the blue is Krishna ji who is adored as saawariya.. hence the name - SAAWARIYA.. besides i dnt why people have such a problem with all the blue when there praising devdas for its amazing film, and backdrops when the film was all golden, and red - just cause it has srk, ash, and madhuri in it? alright then.

it has genuine performances, ranbir has done nice, sonam as simple sakeena is so honestly potrayed

i loved the whole presentation

loved the idea of crazy lovers, sonam crazily waiting for sallu,

ranbir fell in love with sonam in 1st moment when he saw her

i actually loved it.... a honest love story... my opinion
