Apparently, Babu had first approached Bharat with the story. But, Bharat at this point in his career didn't want to do this film. It is being said that the actor had issues with doing a double role at this point and the film required him to do just that.

It was then that the director narrated the story to Arjun. The actor, known for doing action films, loved the story and thought that it was just the kind of role that he would love to do. Though Arjun has not yet given any fixed dates because he is busy with his current projects and can start a new one only when these are completed.

In the meanwhile, Babu is ready to wait. He claims that this movie would be just as good as Arjun's Gentleman. Well, we hope Babu Sivan will be able to do that.[/quote]
