"I want to explore my comic timing": Minissha Lamba
Recently she was in town for the launch of Levo spa cum salon, she made heads turn in her little red dress.
In a live conversation she reveals who Minissha is.
You have earlier said that you prefer yourself to be detached when you are being emotional. Why is that so?
Actually there are a lot of things in our lives that bog us down and distract us from real issues and I have experienced that emotional attachment unnecessarily divert us from real issues of concern. Therefore I prefer to be a little detached in order to deal with things strongly.
You have played the role of a village girl in your new movie, Well Done Abba. Any experience during the making of the movie that you want to share with us?My role of that of a village girl was different from all the characters that I have played in the past. It was a completely different experience for me altogether. I had to go to villages and develop my character for the movie. It was an unexplored territory for me that I had never experienced prior to Well Done Abba. I am overjoyed to work with Shyam Benegal ji for the movie and very contented with the experience that I got from the movie.
What is your idea of pampering yourself?
Not really. I want to pamper myself but because of my hectic schedules I am not able to go to spas. In other words I have very little leisure time that I can't go to spas even if I want to.
Like other Bollywood actress are you a fitness freak?Well I really don't maintain my health but yes I do care about my health and beauty a lot. I eat healthy; I follow a very strict regime for preserving good health and fitness. I have a good skin which I have inherited from my mother.
You haven't really played comedy roles in any of your movies. So is Hum Tum aur Shabana being a challenge to you.
I was waiting for the right time to do comedy movies. I have never explored this genre before. I am a bit scared for it but I do hope that I get my comic timing right in the movie and make the viewers laugh.
Who do you think can be you Mr. Perfect?
I want a self-made man. Someone who is confident but quiet about it and doesn't run after girls.
What are your upcoming movies?
My next movie is Hum Tum aur Shabana. It is a comedy movie directed by Sagar Ballary. I am really enjoying doing comedy in this movie.
