someone stole snookies bump it!

ok the dress is very nice and overall she looks pretty it wouldve been a 10/10 had it not been for the hair...not a disappointing appearance, but she ALWAYS screws up in once place or another. last year it was the sleaked hair

WOW Eva's beauty amazes me but aish is so beautiful also, two stunning ladies.

Eva's so short though...lol I'm surprised she can reach a little bit of aish's height. I love Eva's dress, make-up. Aish's color of dress compliments her skin color. I love the make-up of aish's too, exotic beauty

i think eva is also looking short in front of Ash because of ash's hairstyle which adds like another 5 inches to her height.

Ash darling the bouffant went out of style with Sharmila Tagore in 1968! Lord!! With all the money that she makes why can't she hire a decent stylist. With the recent blouse debacle and now this hair her stylist should be fired ASAP

I saw the ceremony on TV, the photocall of the jury's members, and the walking on the red carpet...And on TV - Aish looked really good...
It's a 60's western hairstyle ....And I do like her gown a lot/....And no one in Cannes found her wierd LOL....
Indian fashion standards isn't the world's.....*meditation*......
At least she doesn't wear FLASHY colors at an international event like some others...which is for western people very ugly ....
Of course - no one is forced to have the same standards as western people....
But I remember american friends of mine who laughed at Vidya Balan's outfit when receiving her FF award....because for them it was a faux pas to wear different texture/color stuck together.....She was a disaster for them - but for most IF members she was gorgeous...
It has to do with standards..yours isn't the world's...and the world's don't mean / don't have to be imposed to you....
And plz do believe me when I SAY people found her really stunning in that dress and hairstyle..I like it cause she had the elegance and the class of an arab mare...her hair looked like a proud mane....
It's called fashion..it's non conventional and creates debate...
--- To see wierder outfits - watch Jean-Paul Gaultier & John Galliano designs...
To see shocking outfits - JLO at the Grammy Awards with the Versace Dress....Milla Jovovich at Cannes to present the 5th element --
yeah there's a world beyond saris and anarkali.....
and yeah it's called fashion....no need to like it --- but just know it is fashion ..it doesn't mean to please the traditional indian in laws from Kerala or conventional bangali or punjabi families...
Our very own Marilyn MONROE --- Brigitte Bardot in France - take a dekho at her hairstyle - she 's a 60's and 70's a sex symbol (she helped Cannes to become so popular and other starlets like her did also)
She starred in "And God created woman"...hence perhaps Aish's hairstyle..the hairdresser couldn't possibly do this without thinking of BB..at least it is the reference that comes up to my mind...

Oh man THANK YOU....THANK YOU for saying all that....
I am here in US and people are crazy over ASh but down in India it is all differnt thing...It is sad.
Well seh had the guts to waer what seh thinks is right. And she is the one walking the red carpet....

You're most welcome....
Cannes isn't Mumbai...
Guys --- I don't mean to sound know it all or condescending but never forget we live in a multicultural world..what does sound correct in India may appear ridiculous in other places and what does look trendy in other places may appear tacky and tasteless in India...
judgements or opinions can never be definitive when one changes areas or evolves in a TOTAL different context....
But I guess ethnocentrism (judging others on the sole basis on our own dear values system/social codes/coded behaviours/social standards and pressure) is really common. We all react this way.😆

Since she doesn't do movies anymore, this is the only place where her fans can see her. Is she coming to Cannes? Madonna might give her some...
