Agree with Zaru here. Plus SRK's arrogance atleast stems from his enormous achievements. Kareena's achievements can't be matched by his. And he doesn't come off as arrogant about his personal life.

As for that marriage comment, that's not coming from her. That's also saif's view. So lemme try and understand. Now being a muslim, I know marriage holds significiance coz of a nikaah. For hindus, its also a religious ceremony.

So apart from a religious ceremony and legal paperwork, what is marriage? its the ULTIMATE commitment, right?

Now saif isnt very religious, lol. Neitehr is kareena. One is hindu, one's muslim. So take the religious context out. Do they have some sort of ultimate commitment? THey both wear rings, have openly declared htey are together, are loyal to each other, and yes, lets not forget saifu's tattoo, haha.

So they have commitment. What's left? official marriage, right?

So i guess tha'ts what Kareena means there.

I know its a strange concept, the way saif and bebo live their lives, but if you look at it from this perspective, I understand where she's coming from. At the same time, its not gonna be a viewpoint that will be understood in our culture and socieity, so she should be careful. Poppy2009, that's why she specifically says in our culture and society its more. She's just igving her own personal views there, you know. And she will get married, just takign her sweet time.

But its bebo, so why do you guys hold expectations, lol?

The 4 Khans, come on, she's a huge fan of 2 of them, is very close to sallu coz of family, and one's her beau. So she's allowed to gush there, lol.

And wait, did I miss something? did she says she's like Sandra? All she said was, just like her, Sandra bullock ALSO won a razzie and an oscar in the same year. WHICH IS COMPARABLE TO KAREENA, coz she won a KELA AWARD and 3 Awards for best actress so far for 3 Idiots and Kurbaan. How is the comparison wrong? Guys she was ASKED to comment on her winning the kela award. I woudl have done the same thing. Had I known of another great accomplished person in my field who went through the same thing, I woudl have cited that example, like hey, the same thing happened to her, does that mean she's a bad actress? Its ok, it happens. She's not comparing herself to sandra. Shes comparising their situations. Did i miss something again?

What else? Hmmm...yup, in general, a lot of wtf statemetns,but still, just bebo being bebo. Guys just coz she's cocky doesnt necesarrily mean that EVERYTHIGN she says is cocky, lol. Sometimes just coz she's nto diplomatic, ppl instantly jump to conclusions. But then, she's RIGHT in some cases, like the ones I pointed out. They make sense. They arent as silly as ppl make them out to be.

Lets just say, I'm glad she's talented and has the career and hits to back up her statemetns. Otherwise, she woudl be dubbed Ms "Ishwar ki beti" number 2, lol!

That's srk's view Zaru. Kareena's not disrespecting marriage. She will get married as well. But she's giving her OWN views about the matter. Perhaps to her, marriage isnt all that important. I cited the reasons in my last post, lol

I know a few friends who feel the same way about marriage. But no means will I say they're disrespecting it. Its just hteir decision.

Once again, you're looking at her comments out of context. As if almost TRYING to find faults. She never compared herself to sandra bullock, but their sitautions ARE similar.

Why did she mention sandra, coz she's ASKed about her winning the kela award.

Kareena's a trooper. She tries to look at the positive side of things. Doesnt let things bog her down.

Like I said, some of the comments that you guys are dicussing actually made SENSE. But just coz its KAREENA saying them, there's alreayd an attitude that ppl associate with her, so they take her quotes out context and attach more meanings to them.

Now also, lemme add. Why is kareena being scrutinized here? Coz of her lack of diplomacy?

I mean HONESTLY, how many of our filmstars are HUMBLE? Really, HUMBLE? Judging from some fan interactions I've read about, they dont seem to come across as completley down to earth. A few exceptiosn being ranbir, imran, and the newer lot. But i've heard bad fan accoutns of almost EVERY star. If htey really were as HUMBLE as they project themselves to be, mark my words, no fan would ever have a bad experience iwth a bollywood celeb. The reality is far from this fact.

THey all have an ego. Come on, get real.
The only diffference is, a few, like Kareena, are honest and forthright enough to just SAY it outright that, YES, I feel I am talented, I feel like I can do this, I feel like I've accomplished something.

Others have mastered the art of diplomacy and shroud their ego and confidence with the "humble statements".

"Oh no, I'm not all that good. No, its not that great. No, really, i mean i really admire."

Basically sucking up, and being diplomatic, haha.

She said she won BA and WA awards the same year like Sandra won Oscar and Razzies. So, in a way, she's putting her Screen BA with Oscar. I'm not talking about her past awards here. Because she isn't either.

I don't care for honesty or diplomacy. Kareena isn't always outright honest about everything either. I'm sure she's said diplomatic things, and sucked up to others..like all others do. I just think she speaks without thinking, and ends up saying silly things more than half of the time. That isn't honesty, that's silliness. And she def. is comparing herself with Sandra here because she says she takes it as a "compliment".

I don't need to TRY finding out issues in her interviews, she always makes it easy. :)

Like i said, I'm a normal person. If I was placed in a SITUATION taht was similar to, lets say kareena, i woudl be like, wow tha'ts a compliment, coz it happened ot her as well. Does that eman I'm comparing myself to kareena? lol

And yes, she's also STARTED to master the art of diplomacy. But honestly, her interviews had gotten so boring then. I could have PREDICTED her answers. She's also diplomatic, but for me, its a breath fo fresh air when she lets the veil of diplomacy down and really answers from teh heart.

Ofcourse we all have our preferences. So there are plenty of diplomatic stars who think a million times before speaking and give interviews for others.

Just not for me.

I KNEW there was a reason I liked this gal, lol.

And I still stand by what i said about ppl jumping to conslusions for kareena's itnerviews JUST coz its kareena. I remember her interviwes woudl reach 5 or 6 pgs even when she DIDNT say anything, haha.

Now let me use this as an example. The part I bolded, suppose that kareena had said that part about including herself in the hottest, oh boy, we'd have JUST waht we're having right now. She's so arrogant, she's this, she's that.
This was one instance, where piggy chops also let downt eh veil of diplomacy, thank god.

I wish these actresses would do that often.

But there we go, its a difference in HOW diplomatic are you. That's it. THATS IT.

As for the second one, I think that beats all of kareena's statemtns in this entire interview put together.

PC and Saaris? All i see her wearing are short dresses, lol
