Preity Zinta has yet to do that ONE ROLE

Preity Zinta had always been an overrated actress to me. Even though I like her very much (and that has more to do with her professionalism and off-screen attitudes, and less to do with her dimples or "cute" face - which I don't find appealing at all), I have never come to understand the fuss behind her popularity. It's no wonder that she has disappeared completely, and more - without leaving a mark. And contrary to the popular belief, Preity had never seemed to be a versatile actress of sort to me, since versatility, for me, does not end at doing a billion form of roles; doing justice to those roles is also crucial. I have never seen a very convincing performance by Preity Zinta. She definitely started improving with KHNH - and was very good in Veer-Zaara, and even more in KANK - but not great. I am yet to see a flawless performance by her. I enjoy her screen presence due to the energetic aura she spreads through out the screen. She is pretty, cute, bubbly and charming - but I wouldn't call her a talented actress.

She was kinda good in VZ, but she overdid her role at times. Rani Mukherjee totally stole the light in the latter half of the movie, which digressed her part in the film. And I did not like her in Salam-Namaste. She was extremely annoying there, Aargh.

Nothing against her the person, though. I love the way she carries herself. I also love her straight-forward nature. And her interviews are a pleasure to read/watch.

And btw - this is just my opinion, and we are bound to have different opinions, so no need to literally hound on my ID.

i've seen heaven on earth and she was BRILLIANT IN THAT FILM apart from
that she did pretty good job in her films and also she's the one actress who can act and look good unlike today's actresses who just r there to decorate the frame a bit
