DOES IMRAN HAS ANY HOPE IN FRONT OF RANBIR?

I think this year also with films like Rajneeti which is looking damn good and Ranbir's role in it is looking good as well and Anjaana Anjaani with a top actress like Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir is gonna move ahead.

One observation about this guy's films is that after his first flop Saawariya, none of his films have taken him back. Instead each film of his has taken him ahead, ahead and away. And he seems to have no signs of stopping down.
He is young, tall, good-looking, good-dancer and a complete actor.

Imran on the other hand, the less I talk about him, the better. But one thing I want to add is on the top of the failures of his films, the dude is now going to get married to his girlfriend thereby decreasing his number of female fans even further which is already dwindling.

He should learn something from Ranbir that now when you are a startup in the industry, being a boyfriend or a girlfriend of some other hot star or a steady girlfriend is a better proposition than marrying straightaway. I think Imran is marrying because his soon-to-be mother-in-law is the head of Network18 so may be she can help him with some roles.

But if an actor is bad then even God cannot save him. I really feel sorry for Imran. I really thought he was a good actor in his first film, which despite being a cliched story worked because of his charm. But sadly, the charm is gone after signing two bad films Kidnap and Luck which seems to have destroyed his chances of ever getting a good role in a good film and working with really talented directors, who by the way, are all eager to work with Ranbir.

I think the general perception in the industry is Ranbir is the next big thing and is already working or has worked in the best roles in the best films with the best directors. Infact, he has already signed Imtiaz Ali's next film.

My clear prediction is that 2,3 years from now Ranbir would be the biggest "Young" star of India. And Imran apart from being really jealous from his so-called friend would be just languishing in B-grade films joining the company of Uday Chopra, Harman Baweja, Zayed Khan and the likes.

Just because his first film "Jaane tu" was a big hit doesn't mean he's gonna continue the ride. Jaane Tu was a fluke hit which was hit because of Tyrewala's script.
Even Imran's next so-called "Good" film Delhi Belly has been offered to him because of Aamir being the producer of the film and he offered his nephew a good role in a good film. Without Aamir, people wouldn't even care about Imran.

But that is not the case with Ranbir. Even though he is the son of Rishi kapoor, the directors are not signing him because of that. They are signing him for his acting ability which I think is way better than other actors of his generation.

Even with all that, I wish Imran all the best and hope that he comes up again as was predicted when his first film became one of the biggest hits of the year.
Infact, I wish both of them best of luck, considerably more so to Imran because I think he needs the luck factor a lot more than Ranbir

Absolutely No. Ranbir is great. He has improved enormously. Wake up Sid is his best work followed by Rocket Singh. I think he comes off as a very humble actor. who is willing to show that he wants to act and improve. This KID is going to make it big. Ranbir's first film didn't do too great but looking at Jaane Tu... Imran and Ranbir cannot be compared. Ranbir is way ahead of Imran in terms of acting wise.

I do not think they are in the same playing field at this moment. The last 3 movies of Ranbir show-cased his versatility, charm, range and commitment to explore and expand his talents. Before WUS, I always thought of him as a nother famous star-kid who is coasting on borrowed fame. But, now I see him truly as an actor who is serious about his work and who gets the pulse of his audience everytime he sets foot on he sets.
Compared to Kidnap and Luck, Ranbir's movies are like Oscar-worthy. LOL

I would say that while Imran is like a good quality candy, Ranbir is more or less a gift-pack of Godiva Chocolates!
The entire package, right from boyish good looks to some serious acting chops (found him very natural in WUS and Rocket Singh) and for some inexplicable reason, a certain star-charisma that just puts him in a different league!
Imran while certainly talented, does not seem to be as versatile! Or maybe he just hasn't found roles that are challenging enough or suit him better!
You never know, a good film with an author backed role might do wonders for him!
But as of now, Ranbir is ahead in every way!

I wouldn't want to pass any comment on Ranbir's acting ability as I haven't seen neither of his two recent critically applauded performances; WUS or Rocket singh. But I have had the misfortune of watching Ajab prem.., which I thought was highly over rated in terms of the movie and his acting. Having said that, I do give it to him for having picked the right choices of films that showcases his versatlity, which Imran hasn't been able to do with his last two outings.

I think its far too early to right of any actor, coz as such was the case than we would have never had an Amitabh Bachchan who gave a Zanjeer after 8 debacles. Every actor creates their own path, they make mistakes and they learn, for example Shahid Kapoor. Even his mamu gave us a QSQT and thereafter he did many roles which were more or less very similar. As an actor; Imran was charming in his first role, which required him to be just that. In Kidnap, he was average, not exactly up to scratch. I haven't seen Luck, so will not say anything about it. In all essence, I am trying to say that though his performaces haven't been path breaking and different, but he has still given his best in that role and has been some what sucessful at that.

Regards to the biggest young star of India, I don't know how people measure the stardom etc. For me, I would rate Abhay way over Ranbir. Personally he has shown far more versatility than Ranbir.

About the marriage issue, I am sorry but I totally disregard that statement. Marriage shouldn't be an hindrance to your ability to act or in anyway lessen your fan following, if such was the case than SRK wouldn't have been where he is. He most probably has the highest female following and he was married even before having step foot in the industry.

About the Delhi belly thing, I am not 100% sure about this, but I remember hearing that this movie was offered to someone else before, I think Ranbir. I do not recall the details properly, I am afraid. But if he got it coz of Aamir, than all I have to say is that even a Hrithik Roshan had a Rakesh Roshan behind him. Last I heard was that Dibakar Banerjee wanted to sign Imran, I don't know how much truth there is in it. But if thats the case, than I hope he makes a wise decision and signs the movie.

Having said all this, I have to say that Ranbir currently is leading the way between the two.

I think biggest handicap for Imran is his Hindi pronunciation, wasn't he born and raised in US? Uski hindi banawati si lagti hai. Hence his acting sort of falls flat or doesn't make desired impact.

Ranbir on the other hand has no such issues....uski Hindi hum sab ke jaisi hai.
