Fake 'Vidya' fools Vivek Oberoi
Person pretending to be Vidya Balan on Twitter also tricked others before being found out
When he thought that Vidya Balan had joined the social networking site Twitter, Vivek Oberoi welcomed her enthusiastically. And he urged those following his tweets to encourage her as well.
But as it turned out, it wasn't Vidya that Vivek was in touch with on Twitter. It was an imposter!
A journalist spoke to Vidya and found out that the actress was not on Twitter. When Vivek got to know of this, he quickly apologised to his Twitter followers. He then passed on the information to Uday Chopra, by posting, "I just found out too, vidya is not on twitter. I got conned too so givin u a heads up!"
Vivek later posted that singer Sunidhi Chauhan had joined Twitter. He went on to add, "This is 4real I jst checked with her-pls welcome the phenomenal singer."
