i dont know why people are comparing these movie . they r two difernt movie and and difernt story so why shoud we complaering it . MNIK is serious movie and difeffernt sotry and 3I is a comedy so i think we souhd stop comparing them .

There shouldn't be ANY problem in comparing two movies...we do that here all the time.
Expression of ideas, speech, isn't all this what we are here about......

Now coming to the topic, even if these movies are of different genre, comparisons are bound to happen coz they showcase two of the top names of the industry today.
So like it or not, comparisons are happening. It's ok to express your opinion with respect, now that's where the line gets fuzzy sometimes...respect!

On personal note Three idiots was absolute bang on.
The realism in that movie with the perfectly right amount of understated humor & mind blowing acting is awesome. To top it all, the relevance of the issue made it one of kind movie.
Karan Johar makes larger then life entertainments, his audience can appreciate that, I don't enjoy his genre at all. Too floozy & fuzzy for me.

^there is nothing wrong with comparing but"Accoring to IF New rules, ANY member isn't allowed to compare movies, actors song or anything. I got my 2 topics closed because i was doing comparing in who looks better. If i got my topics closed then this topic should be closed as well. Plus if you haven't watched both movies then how can you vote??
