Why was it Jaya's fault? because she spoke in Hindi? Well Hindi is our "rashtriya bhasha" and yes Aamir's issue was related to Narmada Bachao just as SRK's is regarding IPL. It is the SAME issue. Freedom of speech which goons like MNS, SS and Narendra Modi want to curtail. If you want to stand up for SRK because he is your fav actor that's fine but if you want to stand up against an issue then people have to be ready to stand up for anyone be it SRK or KRK.

I agree, My guess would be because an indian actor being called traitor, telling him to leave India and settle in Pakistan. Reminding him Mannat is in India and not in Pakistan. It's said friends don't support in these issue. Especially when you can make the world a whole a lot better. But i think people should come out. If not friends then fans or aam janta. actually it was during Drona premier....she said mein hindi mein bolungi , maharshtra wale humein maaf karein, mein UP se hoon(somehing like this , exact wording i dont remember) problem started that no one told her to speak in marathi, so can say she did this on purpose, without reason she brought this issue , and MNS started their usual actions and everyone was saying that if bcz of her this startement any goonda gardi, attacks started against North Indian then only Bacchan's will be responsible for it and nothing will happen to them bcz they r big ppl only a common man will suffer , bal thackrey also said she shldnt say this....only then they apologized

I for one would life SRK to bow down if this goes on any longer. Why should he take up this fight when the government itself is acting like a bunch of cowards? He has no duty to prove that he's Indian enough. It's a democratic country and he has the freedom of right to speak. Hell, he is one of the biggest reason that India gets recognized a lot internationally.

But when it comes down to threats and violence, then why should SRK be the brave one and fight for the whole of India. Just because the whole Bollywood is writing their so-called "support statements" to SRK doesn't do anything for anybody. In the end, he will be the only one affected.

I don't want SRK to go through this barbaric ordeal where he's stuck either way. If he bows down, it will be better. Hell, were selfish in our lives for the smallest things, and we expect this man to fight for all of us and be a selfless person. Why? He has as much as a right to think about himself as another person. No one dare tell him that he's being a coward if he bows down coz you very well know you would have done it a long time ago if you were in his position.

I agree 100%. Enough with this already. What can SRK do on his own? If atleast he had government on his side, something could've come out of this. The government says it's on his side...but then why aren't they taking any proper action?! We can't expect him to stand alone fight a battle that's already lost and also end up hurting his family, his business partners and many others along the way. Nothing will come out of this. So be a little selfish, SRK. Just let it go.
