The time has come to honour the Best of 2009.
As the New Year begins, each year we at Bollywood Hungama take a trip down memory lane to look at some of the best performances and films of the year gone-by. Last year 2009 was a mixed bag of sorts. While the first half of the year saw some major disappointments and the ill-fated multiplex-producers strike, the second half came as respite. Towards the end of the year some big films brought a smile on the faces of Bollywood buffs and film industry folk.
Now that 2009 is over and done with, the time has come to honour the Best of 2009. Yes …it's the season of film awards and this year too, we at Bollywood Hungama bring you the ever-popular Surfer's Choice Movie Awards 2009. The USP of these awards are the fact that unlike other awards where there is a jury that decides the winners, here it is you- the janta janardhan- who calls the shots. There are as many as 12 different categories in which you can vote for your favorite nominees. Besides, the results of these awards are announced after undertaking a 3-way filtration process (namely Email Validation, Cookie Check, and the IP Check) to ensure complete authenticity and credibility. No wonder then that it's not just the aam junta but the industry folk too who swear by the results of these awards!
So what are you waiting for? Voting closes on Jan 22, 2010. So, before it gets too late, exercise your right to vote for your favorite artists and film at the Surfer's Choice Movie Awards 2009 only on Bollywood Hungama and await the results to find out if your choice ends up being the final winner.
