Why do people pretend to be best buds with celebs? - Page 2

I havent read all the comments yet because I'm about to head out but I def don't think Shahid is a saint, and I've said this many times here too. I only defend him when I think I know enough to make a logical argument. Like with the Vidya thing, I was very confused myself because all the past interviews hinted that they were never dating, but Vidya was implying something else. So I wanted to defend him but in my head I was thinking, you know, if this turns out to be true, I don't know how I will get myself to like him again.

I don't criticize Shahid much here, it mostly happens on his site or if I'm talking to some other fan on msn. If you ever get to read my msn convos with Anamika, you'll probably think we're hardcore Shahid haters. No joke. But yeah, man I wish I was his best bud lol, def don't think I am. Fans of celebs who are open about their private life might know a bit about their favs, but if your celeb is a recluse then you prob know like 2% about his/her life lol.

Should we try to make a rule in BS that any discussion on Fans and Fan behaviour are just banned! And only discussions regarding films, celbs are permitted. And also ban the use of words "Fan girl" and "Haters". Respect each others opinion! Don't demean fans and also don't pick on posters who say negative stuff about popular stars. Just these few change and will have a much more user friendly forum. Oh I absolutely agree with you ladygaga, but it's about time people started to practice what they preached, ya know? My concern at this point is that I want the bitching about me to cease on MSN/Facebook/secret forums amongst the anti fans and fans, and keep the stalking to sheer minimum you see. My mindset will be constant, and I will continue on being a douche and a neutral hater, but of course I will not hunt down a clan's address and pictures if they said that 'Bipasha is a kaali billi who is a sl*t' -- people say that. To each to his own.

Oh, and for God's sake, stop moaning about how the anti fans consider themselves to be of the top tier. No one is better than anyone here because at the end of the day, we all are on a pathetic forum.

Lastly, don't coy yourself by neglecting the excessive actions on this forum with quotes such as 'live and let live.' It's true that folks over here creep up into the minds of their favorites, and start being irrational with their unworthy acts. Don't attempt to twist the facts; I can pull up statements from this very own forum that are bizarre and just peculiar, I am sure if a novice member joins the forum and has a look at those statements, he or she will suggest a psychiatrist for those specific folks --- This is not for you ladygaga, but I speak in general terms.

It's just an actor. How does one deal with this situation in real life? If one doesn't like so and so, then you go to the FBI and ban them for life? If so and so said something about your favorite in real life, then you hunt out articles from your archive and then ring them up at 2 'o clock at night to say 'TOLD YA SON, MY BABY WOULDN'T DO THAT.'

It's disturbing to say the least. Oh, and then don't fudging sideline the Katrina fans, Saifeena fans, or Sonam fans for acting up, because if you just happen to be a fan of someone else, it doesn't mean you're any better than them.
