I dont know about out of india. but in india there has been lot of publicity for this movie. i could see only ranbir on TV on all the channels. everyone knows about the movie. i think people r bored of watching back to back movies of ranbir. it think its due to over exposure.

see i agree with the promotional stuff..they didnt promote this movie at all...doesnt get it if movies are good...why thy shouldnt be promoted...and promotion doesnt mean tht ranbir just appears in channels and hoardings...ppl should know abt the movie as well...chak de was promoted well

In fact, the more correct way of putting it would be to say that the opening of Paa on 4th December was so disturbing that the trade wondered whether all the money spent on the extensive marketing of the film had gone to waste. But the start of Rocket Singh this week has suddenly made the opening of Paa last week look like it was bumper. In other words, if the initial of Paa was dull, that of Rocket Singh is dismal. If the start of Paa was disturbing, that of Rocket Singh is depressing...KOMAL NAHTA

Ranbir+top heroine+awesome music+great promotion=superhit.

well 3 idiots promo makes it seem like a real good movie and it has aamir khan so there is really no way it will open up to low response, audience is smart now days they know which movie to watch and which to leave

I was hoping that this movie does not do well....😆 Bad but I was...

For many reasons...the main one being Ranbir got it too easy. All teh top actresses were very very eager to work with him while the other young actors were left to struggle even though they gave hits after hits. Especially - Shahid, Neil, etc.

Secondly two ladies were entering bollywood with this movie and htey were not even given 1 second of promotions. Ranbir was asked to go to Dubai festival all alone...WHY? Why the girls did not get fair chance like any other actress to come out and promote themselves too.

So I guess in a way it is good. Ranbir should also face the criticism...

I didn't even know this movie released yesterday. 😕

Wasn't it supposed to be in theaters on December 25th?

I've only seen two commercials total for this movie (it was the same promo, just on two different days); there has been absolutely no hype at all. Now over-hyping isn't good at all, but people should atleast know that the movie exists and when it is releasing.

I guess if word of mouth is good then it will pick up this weekend.

Even i didn't knew it was releasing yesterday 😆
