I would say those are liberal views. His maid is clearly puting one practice down. His father doesnt share those points and told him to just disregard what she said. I doubt he meant they laughed at her. But they certainly woudl have a laugh at her views. Reminds me of the time I tried to convince my maid (I was veyr young guys, plz keep in mind, perhaps 6 years old, maybe younger) that Islam is hte only religion and that her faith is wrong. She was christian. I look back and think, wow...was I ever like that?

Share the views? Lol, so if one doesn't share the same views on an aspect of Islam, then the other view is wrong? What's written in the Quran doesn't need "views." You either believe it or don't. If you're a Muslim, and something about Islam has been said in the Quran, I fail to see why you wouldn't believe it.

Well than that's why he says he doesnt know what kinda muslim he is. Because he clearly has a different take on faith. Its not as if he's claiming to be the most devout muslim.

Well he sure doesn't need to go and pretend to be liberal.

Actually, I'd rather not. I sadly don't see a point to.

He and his father used to laugh on the maid (Naukarani) because she was a poor woman working in their nawabi palace !! And his father used to say she is crazy or mad !! That used to make them laugh !! I donot think this as a funny laughing on poor maid being rich !! Would his father had used these words for his own wife if she had said it !! I donot think so !! So this interview is not funny neither make any sense !! We all belong to a community or religion !! I salute to that !! I love and respect every community and religion because we are human beings first and i love humanity too !! I donot have any bad to say about any one !!

Is he joking or pulling peoples leg that he does not know what kind of muslim he is !! This is a real shame on his part !! I love and adore every community and religion but this is a joke !! 😲
