They both got publicity from their relationship but yes ranbir and his family did use deepika's name before their b grade movies were about release!!!!! as now he has a "superstar" tag his family wont have to take deepika's name!

It's true though and I definitely agree with you. Most people marry someone who is either equal to them in status or have good status.

Even Deepika has dated all high profile celebrities. Why didn't she fall for some poor guy? Ranbir too had affairs with high profile ladies, Avantika probably comes from a rich family (I do not know) and then Deepika too comes from a high profile family as well. It happens all the time.

I guess people don't like the word 'calculative' etc. but truth is love and marriage nowadays are more like business deals.

Anyway, I don't think their being together or not being together really affects the outcome of their films. Deepika had the biggest hit of the year and one of the biggest flops at the time she was with Ranbir.

And yes I know we are all cynical about Bollywood and the relationships that exist there, but it is possible that some people are actually in it for love.
