I'm a fan of 90's, 00's music
Most songs are pretty catchy But the lyrics are sometimes awful..tandoori nights, bebo mein bebo..?
I definitely feel that older songs had much better lyrics
The words were so much more lyrical and touching
For example, I love RnB/pop music but somehow it just doesn't compare to old hindi songs
Here are some of my favourties
I have to admit some I didn't like on first hearing, but when you listen to and understand the words, they're so beautiful
Hum Bewafa: The random chorus kind of spoilt it, but the words to this are so poignant
Kya hua tera waada: This is such a poignant song, I think Mohammad Rafi does a really good job in portraying that choked-up emotion
Jab koi baat bigad jaaye: This is newer, bu is one of my all-time favourites cos they lyrics are just so romantic and meaningful, this verse especially:
"Chandni raat hain jab tak, denta hain har koi saath
Magar tum andheon mein, na chodna mera haath"
