Ok his views on islam are very liberal. He says he was brought up in a Muslim household, so he's loytal to that identity. He belives in Allah, and has strong views about prayers and whatnot, and how islam is about submission and peace, and talked a bit more.
He was asked if he talks to his kids about islam and he recounted a time when he had to explain to sara about her grandmother's death and she was so young she asked why allah took her grandmother away. So saif talked about that.
Then the interviewer asked about kareena's dressing. Saif said that are you asking me if I mind if people look at her or what? Because here's the thing, if she wears a mini skirt, that's fine, or if a dress has a slight lowcut neck, its cool or if its backless, that's fine as well. If she looks elegent. But if its something vulgur, then yes, I will voice that concern with kareena. But he said he doesnt need to worry about these things becuase kareena doesnt dress like that.
He said that a woman's figure sometimes looks more appealing covered up slightly rather than displayign everything. (hence you can tell why kareena's going for saaris nowadays, lol.)
When rajeev asked him if his parents have a problem, saif gave this realy sweet smile and said, NOT AT ALL. He said "My dad's hte first to say to kareena, you look lovely. ANd my mom would never have a problem. They're 60s parents, and were quite trendy in their own days"
As for the convertion question, saif says that when him and kareena get married, he will not ask her ot convert, becuase he doesnt believe in that. HE says faith is something so personal, that he cant ask her to do that for him. And he said that even the law had been amended and has a special marriage Act or something that wont require for anyone to change religion. And evne his parents are ok with it. He said as a mother how would you feel if you knew that someone was taking your daughter and turning her into a muslim, or how would my mum feel if someone tried to turn me into a jain?
ANd then they just asked him a quesiton about his journey in life till now.
