Err why does Deepika need to thank Farah all the time? Farah didnt do any favor for Deepika, Farah WANTED to cast her. It was HER decision, no one forced Deepika down Farah's throat. Deepika did her job, and thats it. She was a supermodel and was well known before OSO too, if Farah hadnt given her a chance, somebody else would have. No biggie.

The clear point here is that just because Kat has a different background than many of the bolly actresses.. does not make her a target or her success any less than the success of any other actresses.. She is what she is and she is proud of it... And if her success has a big hand of some influencial people.. then that is the story of everyone.. we all have someone behind us who helps us to be where we are.. and if she chooses to thank those people then it is her prerogative.. I know that I cannot close people's mouth.. but I wanna say that I don't have any problem with Kat or her success.. the audience has accepted her.. she is doing great.. and I am happy for her... yes I crib about her acting.. but that is like everyone these dayz..there arent any good actresses around..LOL.. and I hope that all of them improve and do great.

exactly, she did her part, was involved in publicity campaign, gave her time and expertise.. she moved on..

was she supposed to constantly bend over backwards saying "oh Farah, where would I be without you..you are the sunshine of my life.... you are the air i breathe, you are the greatest..i acknowledge your existance..."

The thing is that Deepika does thank Farah and SRK a lot. So this is a strawman argument. At every single award function it was all Farah - Shahrukh - Farah - Shahrukh and oh my mother as well. On Dus Ka Dum and Tere Mere Beach Mein I saw no bad vibes between them. Deepika was at her Eid party in 2008. Deepika went to the hospital to visit her when she delivered her triplets. Like I said - strawman argument.

Sorry to pick on you, but Psychobalehead is no Deepika fan and in this thread she was the one who called into question Katrina's sweetness. So why Deepika was brought into this whole thing I am still not sure of.

Yea there was no need to Bring Deepika into this mess. But to Crystal's credit she only said, "Deepika fan", IMO that does not count as attacking Deepika atleast not explicitly....so not sure what the need for a counterattack was??? 😕 😆

I guess I kind of jumbled up my argument. I was just surprised that this turned into an issue between Deepika and Katrina fans when maybe 2 Deepika fans had commented here - and one of them started this thread to talk about how Katrina was "sweet". I didn't really get that.
