To be frank, there is no shame in not knowing how to speak English. What is wrong with speaking in your mother tongue? Meera can speak Urdu and Punjabi, God knows why she doesn't stick to that. One shouldn't make a fool out of themselves.

And I still think that why on earth did Mahesh Bhatt choose her as leading lady? Bloomin heck, she cant act and it gives a bad name to the Pakistani actresses that have talent- because many will automatically assume that they are all like that.

If we can poke fun at Rakhi then why not someone else. We shouldn't take our nationalities that seriously. I even made fun of Elesh's hindi on Swayamvar.

She should have just stuck to Urdu in her interview though.

I agree with you all! There's nothing pathetic about it! And I don't understand why she's adamant on speaking English even if she doesn't know how to! There are many more pakistani celebs that do talk shows in urdu eventhough they're all highly educated and fluent in english!

That's sad, really. It seems like someone is making her do the interview in English..whoever she is talking to in her ear.
