To be honest I find this sad. It's clear she's very uncomfortable speaking the language and she doesn't want to. The studio people recorded it and leaked it or pur it on air or whatever. But what I find more sad is that people of her own country are posting this to make fun of her. I dunno what I find more pathetic. No offence!

Ok seriously, I've seen Indian celebs being made fun of as well. And htey're not being made fun of being they're INDIAN. They're being made fun of because of their antics. So next time, should an Indian person not post something funny about Rakhi Sawant coz what, me as a pakistani will have a laugh at it?
So what if I'm paki and I posted this? There are plenty of other artists in pakistan that are AMAZING and VERY TALENTED. Meera is NOT one of them. My cousin who lives in pakistan posted this on his FB wall, and his PAKISTANI FRIENDS are having a laugh at it. There was no reason to bring in nationality here. This isnt even a matter of nationality.
I actually dont judge anything based on nationality. Had any other ethnic actress been seen doing this, I woudl have had JUST AS MUCH LAUGHS and posted it as well. Not everythign needs ot be out nationality and reputation. Sometimes you can see things just for laughs. Like i siad, I didtn think, OMIGOSH PAKISTNAI ACTRESS SO FUNNY.
I thought, hey, Meera, ppl on IF might know her as well since she starred in Nazar, and this clip is hilarious, so let me post it.
Relax, no need to take everythign so personally.
And since you find my actions so PATHEITC, then I would wanna know. Had this clip been about Rakhi Sawant, would you have been offended? I dont think so, and why, because she's not Pakistani, or she's indian? or whatever.
It doesnt make any difference to me whether someone's white, black, brown, blue, or purple. Hmm, maybe there's something wrong with me then. Yes I have cultural pride, but I dont differnetiate or put my country above anyone else's either. Perhaps i dont differenctiate between indians and pakis that way. I just dont see much difference.
Anyways, thanks to the ppl who enjoyed it and had a laugh.

There's no reason to judge someone based on a video posted or comments written here. Some may find this funny, some may not.

I felt sorry for her, but I think the situation itself did call for a laugh. No one was forcing her to interview this guy. And if she's not comfortable speaking in English, she could have asked to speak in Urdu or left the job for others.

I'm just saying, I know pakistanis had a laugh at it. So what's the difference? Its ok if her own countrymen laugh at it, but god forbid if an Indian laughs at it, then its bad?
She's a public figure, and public figures are constnatly in the media glare. I dont see ali zafar being made fun of in this way. Or Reema, or Resham, or Imaan Ali. No other paki actress has made herself out to be a joke liek Meera has. It has nothing to do with nationality, but everything to do with her antics. Hell, Geo Tv, a popular pakistani channel, has impersonated her countless times and made fun. So who am I to be judged?

i think it is kinda low of the production team to leak these videos for the sole purpose of ridiculing her.. if they took small segments of these and aired them as bloopers then i can understand ...

Oh, Meera has had many hilarious interviews. This one is nothing in comparison to the others that I have seen!
To be frank, there is no shame in not knowing how to speak English. What is wrong with speaking in your mother tongue? Meera can speak Urdu and Punjabi, God knows why she doesn't stick to that. One shouldn't make a fool out of themselves.
And I still think that why on earth did Mahesh Bhatt choose her as leading lady? Bloomin heck, she cant act and it gives a bad name to the Pakistani actresses that have talent- because many will automatically assume that they are all like that.
