Hair oil brand could not afford her
A leading hair oil brand has created a rift between two friends, model-turned-actresses Anushka Sharma (pictured left) and Deepika Padukone, who are both from Bangalore.
The brand decided to drop Deepika as its ambassador and replaced her with "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" actress Anushka Sharma.
According to the brand, Deepika's exorbitant price was the reason for her outster. She was signed as the brand ambassador even before her entry into films and that also at a very cheap price. But with her growing popularity, she has increased her price a lot.
The other reason was that people failed to identify Deepika with the brand as she has now started endorsing other products also. Anushka Sharma got the ad through Yash Raj Films and she has already shot for the commercial.
