it was not childish at all. but confusing for me i had to watch it 2 times tio really understand it. acting was rally good jus the way the movie went about was confusing

LAK was not a childish movie....but it was deffo disappointing for me as well....I expected more from Imtiaz.....the characters weren't as well sketched and the dialogues were a little lame in parts....unlike his previous two movies, I couldn't connect with the characters in this one.....barring Veer-Harleen.

Like I said before somewhere, the idea was great but the way it was executed was horrible. I did not have an issue with the transitions like some people. I understood those but comeon who wrote the dialogues? A 4 year old! It was so cheesy....mango people, pratigya? Also some of the scenes were very cringeworthy. Theres nothing subtle about this. And Saif was absolutely horrible. Deepika was only good because here she showed tremendous improvement from her previous disastrous acting, otherwise there's no redeeming quality about this flick. There were 7 people at the AMC and I remember 4 walked out in the first 20 minutes. Hows' that for a much hyped movie. I should have waited and seen it on YT if I was gonna see it at all.

i remember wondering whtz pile up..!!..oh,it struck me after the movie...i agree,the idea was great,but the execution was poor....there were many discontinuos scenes in the movie..like i said,jai shuffling b/w india and amrika as if he had won a lottery....the whole jai realisation of love fr meera was poor..!!!....jai's new girl friend wala track didnt have proper meaning...!!!..but deepika impressed me because she was so much better thn OSO,but still,not wht i expected it the to be....

Yes I found this movie very very boring....I was itching to get out of the theatre in the first twenty minutes but couldn't since my ride decided to stay on....(😡)...

The dialogues were cheesy & God Saif was horrible. He was practically in every damn frame of the movie. By the end of it, I was like have I seen enough of him or what? Deepika was strictly ok. I never liked her in OSO & I didn't like her here.

One of the most boring movies of 2009 was LAK......

I actually liked it...but obviosuly not better than JWM..i agree that it could have been a bit better with the way it was executed...I for one liked Deepika (maybe I'm just biased) and Saif...their performances were good for a movie like this....

it was ok
but surely didnn match the expectations and the hype that was all created
i LOVE deepika but in that movie she just blew everything she didnn know how to talk her dialouges seemed like shez reeding off the script and saif was good but thats wat he has been doing since years like nothing extra ordinary in acting

it was not a childish movie and trust me i've seen the same story in real life too (well VERYY similar)
but it still didnnt meet the expectations
