Ag with a full head of hair looks like Rahul Mahajan apparently. He also played the villain in Chamatkar I am pretty sure. And yes he directed Baazi and Pehla Nasha before Lagaan.

Not commenting on his recent controversial statements, I think he is a sincere filmmaker....I thought Swades was a fabulous movie....I haven't seen WYR so can't comment on that or the length issues.

Ashutosh Gowarikar is bald Ekta Kapoor in disguise. There's nothing that can be done to edit his work. But everything has an expiration date. Give him one more flop and he'll be history.

The day Ashutosh Govarikar makes a film around 2-2.5 hours long along with a good script, I will be one first ones to go and see his film in the theatre. Till then it's on t.v or it's piracy. (I didn't see any of his films in theatre) Piracy zindabad! 😆

And he needs to go slow on his ego. Making a short film will do him no harm. Infact I think critics and people will appreciate him more. It will perhaps make us and the critics think that he has listened to all the criticism regarding the length.

Sincere he might be, but I don't think he is all that great of a filmmaker. And part of what prevents him from becoming better is his attitude, which is reflected in his controversial statements.

Jodha Akbar was hardly a good film forget about being best of the year (according to me).

so agree with u Riya 👍🏼 The former trashes so called 'saga' and latter has so 'logic' (is it a period movie- a love story or an epic?? who knows) --- Jodha Akbar and Sawaariya are the biggest examples of horrendous movie ever made. (me is exaggerating a bit)
