It amazes me how people still love Salman Khan. After all he has done, he still has fans defending him all over the place. He does charity, he has a heart of gold ji! However, doing charity does not wash way your deeds! It may make you feel better, but it does NOT make things better,

I am NOT an Aish fan, so please don't label me a hater. It does not take a fan to stand up for what is wrong; and the wrong doing is that he abused Aish( physically & emotionally)! How can anyone support this man when he has levied abuse upon the woman? No woman, no matter if she is your worst enemy, deserves to be abused! If domestic abuse is tolerated many does it does not mean it has to be tolerated by all. Aish was the few who got of the abuse, and it is very admirable she did so! So many just endure it in silent. It is praiseworthy that Aish emerged out of the relationship.

Salman is a kid at heart, abhi bhi bachcha jaisa hai etc. Sorry, but bachcho mein bhi akal hoti hai ji; so I refuse to believe that. Even kids know not to hit.

Anyways, it is no crime to end a relationship. The woman doesn't need to stay with a guy b/c he took her side or w/e; she has no obligations. If she does, then first make the men stay. There are so many women who stand up for their man, but lots of these men just leave and go onto to where the grass is greener. If a man has no obligations, then the woman has none either.

We live in a hypocritical society, we don't act on what we preach. A woman deserves respect, is equal to man are just words. In this day and age, the woman is still looked down upon on many of her actions; while man bathes in the wah wahs for the same.

Vivek did a stupid thing with this conference thing, but I really don't think a police complaint would have done anything. I feel that if he had lodged the complaint, nothing really would have happened; it is the MUMBAI police here.

Na baap baada na maaiya, sabse baada rupiya. Money talks, and shamelessly it talks pretty loudly in India. The ek rupiya (Vivek) had no chance with the do rupiya (Salman). So ek rupiya decided to make noise with teen rupiya (media); do rupiya would not win completely at least.

Anyways, Vivek has dealt with a setback in his career, but now it may go up. Salman was in control then, but with the way he is going now, you never know.

So yeah, no matter what I'm on Team Aish if it is going on to defend Salman for his actions.

simran, an excellent post.... i fully concur... shame some people only see that she is now happily married and dumped vivek, so that equates her being the evil witch... did not know that it was such a crime... but easy to forget that her career nearly got destroyed... and some open proofs that she had suffered physical abuse as well... but no, if one does charity, it's all good... they are labelled as a man with a heart of gold or silver or whatever the heck, platinum... it irks me to no end....!!

as for vivek, i hope he comes out of it... and as Geet said, i am certain most of his resentment comes from the fact that he is not doing as well career wise... another reason why he is continuing to be act spineless is possibly because he is trying to make good connections within the industry... afterall, this is the only job that he can do... i wish him luck for it... everyone has made mistakes in their past and nobody is a saint... it's impossible for everyone to be like Gandhi ji or Mother Teresa...!!
