Changes in Shahid Kapur.

I had to make this thread just cuz I'm too happy these days😆. Honestly, I have never seen this Shahid before. I have been a fan of his since Ishq Vishk, and I have never seen the guy like this! I have possibly watched all his interviews, and I know how he usually behaves/acts. But, these days he surprises me with every interview and blows me away with every appearance. He's totally a new person, I crack up while watching/reading his interviews now, there is a sense on confidence I notice in his pics, he has never been this dedicated towards his work before, his dressing sense has improved SO MUCH and he just looks too happy these days 😳. *knocks on wood*

Earlier he came across as so reserved and shy, he didn't make friends in Bollywood and would just stick to his best friends (Sriram, Ahmed, Ken and Shabina). He would HARDLY talk in chat shows, he would be shy to do everything basically. He never even attended too many promotional events even for his own movies! Never really made friends with co-stars, the only ones he befriended were Amrita and Kareena. He lived in the same building as Ayesha Takia and Priyanka, but never got friendly with them. He worked with Ayesha in so many movies, but he was never really friends with her. With Priyanka, he was supposed to do two movie earlier, but none worked out. Then he never really communicated with her during those double dates with Shahid-Kareena and Hurman-PC. He was friends with Vidya, but I never saw him being all playful with her. Then when it comes to industry friends, he actually made people hate him because they took his shyness as his arrogance. Despite of Kareena being friends with people like Karan, Farah, SRK and Manish. Shahid was never more than acquaintances with them. 😕What else? I don't know he was never open in his interviews, infact he got worse during 2007 and 2008. Man, it was a pain seeing him promote KiKo, his state of mind was probably horrible back then. The success of JWM didnt help much either....

Now he started getting a lot better during the making of Kaminey, maybe because he was happy about the work he was doing. But I saw a major change in him after the strike was over with. Its like someone injected him with confidence. All those sexy photoshoots and numerous magazine spreads! Then he probably gave out 3498238929 interviews relating Kaminey, even I havent watched all of them😆. Boy probably visited every damn radio station, was on every news channel multiple times, reality shows, press conferences and what not. Every time I saw the pics of these events, I saw confidence written on them. The video interview are howlarious. Oooh he attended random parties like Tarun Mansukhani's bday bash, Karan's bday bash, PC's party, Karim Morani's bash and what not. He just comes across as happy in the interview. Personally, I think success is the reason for this. It could be something personal as well, but we arent sure of that. Everyone on Shahid's forum thinks that RG Awards are the best awards till date😆. Why? Cuz we've never seen Shahid like this. The list is long, he is sandwiched between two hot actresses and he's talking to them, he's danced with PC, he almost cried while giving his speech, he was forsome reason sitting on a dhol😆 and he was kind of hosting with Shreyas. All that in ONE award function! I should totally shut up, but I had to write this out😆.

And Karan said that he was actually a lot better in this interview. So imagine how he was like in the first one. Haha.

P.S- I'm genuinely not trying to prove that Shahid is happier now cuz he' supposedly with PC and he was a sad bacha back then because of Kareena and all. I'm genuinely not trying to hint at that. The interviews just happen to have both Kareena and Priyanka, lol.

Yes, but he never actually behaved like that when JWM or Vivah happened. About the arrogance part, he did get a big for his boots after Ishq Vishk 😆, I could sense that. But, then failure taught him how to handle the success.

Divya, I agree. Esp this one interview of his during the break up days made me feel very awkward, when he kept smoking like an idiot.

Yes, there is an aura of confidence around him, and that is nice that he is opening up. I have definitely warmed up to him because of his openess now. Also, that Lola Kutty interview is the best. I remember the compatibility test, they were awesome at it. You could take any interview of his from the past and he's just soo blah in them😆. And the Lola Kutty one is my all time favorite Shahid interview! "Shaiiiiitaaan- another word for Kaminey" Gosh, I cannot get over it.😆

I have zero expectations from DBH as a film, I still hope it does well though. About CPD, well I think it will be a good movie. Ken is actually a decent director and the Shahid is krumping, enough said.😳
