Shahrukh detained in Newark Airpork for 2 hours!!! - Page 27

This has happened in the past with many other muslims and it's a shame it has happened again.

ok the fact remains that muslims are under the radar, but after getting all the info on this SRK fiasco im sort of slightly irritated. so SRK was NOT DETAINED, he was merely pulled aside for routine checking because of his frequent visits which is NORMAL, my dad went through the same thing twice already for travelling frequentlly (and also having a name that signals a red flag), ofcourse all luggage is to be opened to make sure nothing suspicious is oging on... and SRK was only held for 60 mins 😲 thats like 10 mins compared to the long hours that alot of people actually spend in there. They don't allow the use of cell phones but they do allow you to use their office phones, i've never had any problems and ive made plenty of calls to my family waiting outside for me.... and the officers are pretty nasty if you try to get smart with them so i don't blame the officers for being rude if SRK was throwing a tantrum and questioning them as to why he's here waiting. perhaps he wouldve been happy had he been given a private room to wait lol.....but im very disappointed the way this matter has been addressed.

I don't know how to react. Are we making a big deal out of nothing or was this actually a big thing? I know this shouldn't have happened, but you can't blame U.S for being cautious after 9/11, but then I think: Are they being racists? I am just so confused.

if SRK thinks he's above the law. please do not come back to US. 👍🏼

gosh...

at first i kind of felt bad for him. but he is totally milking this situation for his own benefit. just because you are SRK does not mean you are above the law.
