SRK is SRK yes..but he's still a normal passenger..!!!

thousands go through what he's gone..!!..whats the big deal..??..why so much of nautanki over this,saying its racism n all such stuff..?

its unfortunate,yes,that u will be frisked if u have a dodgy sur-name,but then it can be changed..n i gather the situation has got better under obama's govt..!!!

so SRK just chill..!!..have u pop-corn n ciggeratte n relax..!!!

no need for so much hype over a routine chack....its onlt 2 hrs...!!..nt 2 yera or some thing..!!!

I agree with you. I see it as publicity!

There was no reason for him to declare that he was detained due to "My name is Khan". I see it as a publicity stunt on his part for his movie. Funny how he mentions the name of the movie. He doesn't say "I was detained due to my last name". That would have been another way to put it, but he chooses the MNIK option. I think the situation worked well in his favour. I am a fan of his movies, but I am not a fan of his off screen behaviour.

Kolkata, Aug 16 (IANS) Describing the detention of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan at Newark airport in the US for screening as a "normal affair", Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh Sunday said he could not understand why the media was creating such a fuss over the issue.

"This is a normal thing. The media is unnecessarily creating a fuss. It happens to me and my other colleagues in the Indian team. It happens all over the world," Harbhajan said.

Harbhajan, however, said he did not know why Shah Rukh was detained for two hours.

"I don't know exactly what happened. But it is the media which has made it a big issue".

I thought Priyanka was one of our smarter actresses but turns out that she is the biggest bimbette of them all. Give me an Aishwarya with her giggles anyday over this nonsense spewing girl - does she even comprehend how foolish it makes her look ? Her first tweet I thought was done in a hurry but there is no excuse for her subsequent ones. Now I am just waiting for John Stewart and Steve Colbert to latch on to this

He was detained for 66 mins somehow that got rounded up to 2 hours and they say Indians are smart in Math.😆
I am sure if they could they would have even said Obama personally handcuffed SRK and let him go only after SRK gave one of the Bollywood speeches(that happens at the end of a film).

I think public should be very very proud of the customs officers of USA...

WHY?

Just because they do not discriminate between NORMAL public and Celebrities....

But it must have poked the ego of Mr. King Khan....

In thier report he US govt said that SRK was detained for 66 min and that too was becasue of :

A- There were otehr people in front of him in the line in the interrogation room.

B - HIs stuff did ont come on time.

So what was wrong. Public should be on Customs dept's side that they did not cut thru the line and put SRK up in front....
