she couldn't vote i think because she wasn't issued a voter id card after moving to her new house and couldn't get registered at her new address. my parents didn't vote for years after we moved when i was younger. its sort of a bureaucratic nightmare.

i think she had more than enough time to get it done but nyways... so i don't buy these excuses... even amir was on vacation and made a point to come and vote... srk was also out of town for ipl and he came and voted... nyways, one should always walk the talk as well for it to be effective...

nyways, it's a good interview... and some smart answers...

even shahid did not vote, btw....!

It's refreshing to read answers to question about youth, the government, and stuff rather than who are you dating? are you single, etc!

shahid i believe had the same issue. see they both recently moved to versova from other places. my parents tried multiple times to re-register when they moved. but after a few chakkars of the collector's office they had to give up. trust me getting yourself registered on a new electoral roll after address change is very hard.

just getting yourself registered the first extremely hard. now atleast the forms are available online. when i registered myself i had to spend hours at the office. its not the same thing for people like shahrukh or aamir who have lived in the same polling area for years. there names were already on the rolls.

as far as i know priyanka did try to get registered in time for the election but it didn't work out.

possible... but honestly, it's a bit hard to digest... that's all... it's nice to read such things but you know, as they say... best words are those which can be seen in actions as well... in any case...!
