As much as I liked Chandni, I despised the ending. Sure, it was Chandni's choice to get married to whoever she chooses, and that's fine with me; however, the fact that Rohit didn't once apologize for saying so many heartless things to her, rather stoically might I add, when he was breaking up with her is something that doesn't sit right with me. I hated how he reverses the blame on her and guilts her into thinking that she was wrong for moving on after he dumped her. I think that instead of prancing around in her apartment uninvited and then subsequently, accusing her of betrayal, he should have gotten down on his knees and grovelled at her feet to forgive him. A tear or two wouldn't have hurt either and I'm taking giant Nile River-esque tears. And then, if Chandni had decided to forgive him and chosen to be with him after careful consideration, it would've been fine even if my choice would have been different than hers.

and thats why i like movies like sholay (becoz although it ws becoz of the social conditions then jay ws shown dead, b t still i liked the ending becoz i cud see the pain in radha's eyes and loneliness), kabhi haan kabhi na (srk as a loser .. i like wen the hero doesnt get wat he wants), saawariya , oh how can i forget sadma (beautiful , how sridevi cudnt recognise kamal hassan ), ijazat (how all the relationships failed between mahendra , maya and sudha..) and many to name..

and i agree abt the movie rdb.. i loved it bt the deaths were soo fast.. it cud hav been like little more slow , it happened like one after another..

Oh really, that makes alot more sense that he would Abhishek to die at the end. After seeing Aks, and being one of the few to like that film, as dark as it was, I was surprised to see such an ending coming from ROM.

I like all of the same movies you do it seems. 😉Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa is my favorite SRK movie ever. And to add to the list Deewar with Amitabh dying at the mandir was just perfect with his mother coming too late. I felt like a tragic ending was a perfect way to end it. Sure, it is kind of heartwrenching for the viewer, but it is more rewarding than just the two lovebirds just ending up together in a synthetic fashion.

U no wat other movie they should have changed the ending too Sangharsh i normally dnt like akshay movies, but him and priety wer ment to be together in that movie. It was sad wen he died. They should have let them live happily ever after.

I would also change the end of all the lame ass movies where the hero/ heroine runs to catch the plane/train that their lover is on and hold up the entire airport. Like hello! have you never heard of the phone!!!! I hate those endings. I want one movie where the heroine starts running behind her lovers train trips and falls on her face!

But yeah I like sad endings actually. I loved the ending of Ijazat and Sholay and Dewaar and Mili.

Devdas I wont comment on cause by the end of the movie I was rooting for both Paro and Devdas to die. Thats the least they deserved!
