| There is nothing new about copying music and lyrics in Hindi films. In fact many famous songs have gone on to become the title of films and others have been used to create 'new versions' using similar lyrics. However what we cannot fathom is why someone would copy the lyrics of a flop song from a flop film! If you thought the Dhan Tan Tan song from Kaminey which is currently on air featuring Shahid Kapur was original, let us take you back less than two years to another song with the exact same lyrics. Ram Gopal Varma produced a film titled Go with his favourite muse Nisha, oops sorry, Priyanka Kothari which also was the launch vehicle of a guy by the name of Gautam Gupta, and the film incidentally had a song with the exact same lyrics... 'Dhan Tan Tan'. While Ramu must be happy that for a change he has 'inspired' someone else and not the other way around, we don't know why the makers of Kaminey decided to repeat the lyrics from Go considering the film released not that long ago and more so because the song and the film did so poorly! We just hope that the Dhan Tan Tan of Kaminey, gives the film more success than the Dhan Tan Tan of Go, and that even though they have copied the lyrics, Kaminey doesn't 'copy' the same fate as Go.
