Even if the news are untrue, I don't see why PC shouldn't demand it. 5 crores is pretty outlandish in real everyday world. But Bollywood actors like SRK and Aamir demand at least 10-20 crores per movie. So, why shouldn't PC? She has a huge fan following. Successful female actors in Bollywood are payed the same amount as newcomer males like Ranbir, Imran. Just doesn't seem fair considering they have more experience and exposure. Hell with this sexist shit.

I think it's too early for her to ask for that much money, but then again was asking for a lot of money when she was still a newcomer! I guess she's in demand right now, and she's cashing in on the opportunity! Smart girl!

You're right I do know about Ash! She started asking for 2 crores after Taal and Hum Dil, I know she got 2 crores for Devdas, and then when she got all the international attention she jacked up her prize to 4 crores even though she had a series of flops! She received 6 crores for Robot and that's her current prize! Which practical nothing compared to the 7 to 12 crores SRK, Aamir, Akshay, or Hrithik make! And yeah Kareena started asking for 2 crores when she was still new. From the last I heard, she makes 4 crores, but she might have jacked up her prize to 6 crores! But Priyanka asking for 5 crores isn't the worst thing in the world, she's cashing in on her success, if she's smart then I say ask for 6 crores!
