Bebo to skip IIFA event for Saif
Kareena Kapoor had backed out of the IIFA performance after preparing for the act. Bebo rehearsed for the song 'Marjani' from Billu under Shiamak Davar's guidance and she even selected her costume for the show but at the eleventh hour she walked out to be with beau Saif. She will accompany boyfriend Saif Ali Khan to England to watch the T20 world cup matches. Saif and Bebo will leave for London tomorrow.
The reason of Kareena's backing out is that she is not happy with the decision of the organizers. She wanted the show to open up with her performance or wind up with hers. But the organizers are not in favor of any of her idea and they have decided to open the grand event with the performance of the Bachchans, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya.
Kareena's business manager says, "It's true that Kareena is no longer performing at the awards event. There were certain contractual issues which didn't work out and we are not at liberty to say what those issues were. They're basic nitty-gritties that didn't work out in time."
Not only Kareena but Priyanka Chopra also opted out at the last minute. She was supposed to perform with Shahid Kapoor.
With so many missing elements, hope IIFA may not lose its charm.
