Yash Raj Films (YRF), who is aiming to strike gold at the box-office with their forthcoming film Dhoom 3, is leaving no stone unturned to repeat the Dhoom magic. Buzz is Aditya Chopra will direct the much-awaited project and Yash Chopra , who was all set to direct another film after a hiatus of five years (he last directed Veer-Zaara in 2004), has put his professional commitments on the backburner to lend support and guidance to beta Aditya.
A source said, "Yashji was in the process of making a film with Aamir Khan and Preity Zinta but he eventually decided to put the film on hold temporarily and focus on another subject, which he had almost completed scripting. But when Aditya announced his decision to direct Dhoom 3 (Dhoom and Dhoom 2 were directed by Sanjay Gadhvi), Yashji decided to first guide his son. Yashji and Aditya are known to concentrate only on one film at a time."
However, a spokesperson from YRF said, "Yash Chopra never intended to make a film this year so the question of him postponing his film for any other film does not arise. Aditya Chopra is not directing Dhoom 3. Contrary to media reports, the script of Dhoom 3 is yet to be finalised and the cast of the film is yet undecided."
