I know he is a nice guy and a good actor but he is not a crowd puller.

When I heard that Kajola nd KAreena were coming togtaher in a Kjo movie I thought ther eis goingt obe a STAR with them. The John rumour looked good but then this.

I think for a movie to be a success believe it or not we need male star power. Now this is goingt obe a movie which moms and mature women going to go and watch. The subjst is also little bit serious.

I hope they change it to John or SRK 😉 or Akki or anyone else but...

Rumours say he has been finalised to play Kajol-Kareena Kapoor's husband in Karan Johar's version of Step Mom. Sources in the Johar camp say that the choice of Arjun is still not final and that talks between the actor and the producer are still on. Earlier it was being suggested that John Abraham would play the same role.

Of course as is the practice these days, first a news is leaked out; then there is a round of denials. This way more buzz is generated. Anyway, Arjun who is currently riding the success wave post Rock On; is also likely to be the male lead in Meghna Gulzar's directorial venture being produced by Sanjay Gupta. Gupta says, "I'll let you know if this news is correct, once the deal goes through. Right now, it is too early to talk." Arjun is also in talks with two film corporations for leading roles, but the price is still being negotiated.

well, arjun is not bad, but i am just thinking arjun and bebo, dont seem like a couple i would like to see... but i dont really care who the male lead is because its not such a big role, but i agree lovanika, it should be someone who people would come to see in the cinemas, even for his small role

i cant wait for this movie, but i guess it will be releasing at the end of next year

I dunno about Arjun...I mean, he's role isn't that huge anyways though. I would have preferred someone a little older.

-erm firstly arjun is doing GREAT post rock on-- plus this movie does NOT even have a substantial role for the guy--and how many movies will srk be in--MNIK, farah's Happy new year, farhan's don 2, red chillies's Ra1--and as recently reported by midday and HT aditya chopra's dhoom 3--

plus srk-kajol is a historical jodi--srk leaving kajol for kareena will mean a LOT of unhappy fans--

why not give arjuna chance--he isnt that bad--

as for crowd pulling--kajol and kareena are huge stars and if this movie is made for the metros which i m thinking has a huge demographic that are kareena and kajol fans--look what happened to BB--it had srk as a spp appearance but it stil didnt pull in the crowds

so assss much as i adore SRK--his plate is quite full--lets give AR a chance shall we

I don't think Arjun's the right choice for this role....Kajol will end up looking older than him :S

I know he has very good offeres but as a supporting actor.

Ther eis a difference in being supporting and carrying the movie onyour shoulder. Arjun does not have htat power.

I wanted someone big in that so that the movie is not limited to only women...like Filhaal.....the movie has a great story and I love dit but howmany went to see it in theatres.

I agree - this movie is about 2 strong women - Ed Harris hardly had a role in it. I doubt it will be a commercial hit. Maybe it will do well in the multiplexes in the metros.

This movie is more about the women anyway. THey just needed a good actor opposite kareena and kajol and I think Arjun fits the bill. I'm so happy!

i agree.. i love SRK but he better NOT do this movie.. 😡😡 besides, his plate is full as you put it... by the way, dhoom 3 is false rumour, he hasn't signed it... in any case, he does not has the time to do this one and i doubt karan would ask him...!

and besides, i think arjun is a good actor... and he's not exactly a 'side actor'... he does well when the role is good... like in his debut movie... if it's a strong role he does well.. and besides, as everyone says, it is not a huge role... and it already is a multi star cast... so then that would mean it's a tailor made role for arjun...

besides, it's a karan johar movie... i doubt it'll go the filhaal way... both kajol and kareena have huge fan following... and it'll come later so that means it'll be releasing in multiplexes so it should do decent business, provided they make it within budget...

SRK can't make a movie hit if he has a small role and specially if he is leaving kajol for kareena, forget it... that means a lot of unhappy srk-kajol fans, which are more than 50%, i think... lol...
