AMEESHA INSISTS ON LEAD ROLES ONLY By Eye TV India Bureau In the News click for larger view Our pretty actress known more for boyfriends than her movies, Ameesha Patel recently declined a good David Dhawan offer on the ground that it was only a secondary role. She insisted on playing only lead roles. This is another matter that she seems to be out of work at present. In any case, she has a rich boyfriend in Kanav Puri and his circle of friends. David isn't to blame for offer though as the actress herself had approached him by reminding that they had worked together in the past and what a memorable experience it had turned out to be.

Being in a benevolent mood as usual, David offered Ameesha the part in the movie instanteously . To Ameesha's horror, however, she only realized later that it was just a secondary role in the film. So, she promptly turned around and told David that she was only interested in leading roles and only if he offers her that, then would she consider doing his film. David might have felt helpless that moment. Anyway, this isn't a professional way of dealing with a director of David's status, Ameesha.

You know honestly, I think that there are worse actresses in Bollywood than Amisha yet, luck has favored them. At the end of the day, its all about luck. She debuted with three "industry kids" in the same year...while those three go more and more movies because of their family connections, she was left behind.

I respect Amisha because of the face that she's so well-educated. If Bollywood or politics don't work out, she can easily become an investment banker again. I think that she was meant for other things but I respect her for duking it out in Bollywood. At least she's following her dreams.

It's not the industry kids that ruined her! She didn't handled her career well enough!!...When she was on her peak, she was busy fighting with her parents or busy into live in relationship with vikram bhatt! If she had focused on her career, she would have succeed!

i dont think she was or is a very great actress, i agree with kyakstar she should have focused on her career, but because she thought she is dating vikram bhatt she can get her way around with everything but i guess that didnt work out either

shez annoying...others may not be able to act but they dont do the vulgur kind of loud breathing which she does when eva shez supposed to be angry or tensed...shez annoying...being a non actress is still bearable but her trying soooo hard to act yet not being able to shows on her face n her expressions...dialouge delivery is hell annoying...i think she deserves where shez today...n regarding secondary roles...helllooo?? wat the hell were u doing in thora pyar thora magic n bhool bhulaiya...no 1 is crazy to offer amisha the lead role..first she refused billu n now this movie..shez soo not doing the rite thing..atleast accept wat comes ur way ameesha..
