Is it true that Katrina Kaif used to come to the sets of London Dreams to keeps tabs on you and Salman?

I really don't know where these stories are coming from. Why are newspapers printing such baseless things about me? I always believed that there was no smoke without fire, but now I think otherwise because there are people in the media who are capable of creating smoke without a fire.

It has been reported that Salman chided your father because he always accompanied you on the sets of London Dreams?

Salman is not a cheapster to do something like that. My dad took these stories lightly and laughed it off. He is not bothered about such things as he knows there is no element of truth in them.

There were stories that you replaced a make-up man and three designers because you were not happy with their work?

That's rubbish. It's the director who decides whom to hire or fire. No newcomer has that kind of power. I never insist on a particular designer or a make-up artist. I know that these guys are experts in their field and I trust them. I don't go around telling people what they have to do. I mind my own business and do my job in front of the camera. It's the director and the producer who make all the decisions.

It is said that you have got airs about yourself and that's why you don't interact with anyone on the sets.

This is the silliest thing I've ever heard. Maybe you should speak to director Vipul Shah and the crew members of London Dreams. I'd appreciate it if the media stops gossiping about me.

Why has Madhu Mantena, the co-producer of Ghajini, refused to work with you?

I don't know how this gossip started. I have not entered into any movie contract with Madhu. In fact, when these stories first came out, Madhu called me and said it was not right.

Are you working with Shah Rukh Khan in your next movie?

No. That's another rumour.

yaar, it is part and parcel of being a celeb.. and as Hope said, she should really get used to it.. as Maya had pointed out earlier, some of these celebs pay to spread these rumours about themselves so they can stay in the news, etc.. so it works both ways.. the actors use media as much as the media uses the actors.. hence, it's all talks but hardly anyone gets dragged to the court..!
