Ranbir Kapoor refuses to step out of his house as he doesn't want to reveal his bearded look for Rocket Singh

Ranbir Kapoor is currently on a self-imposed house arrest. And it's because he is a tad shy about his beard, which he is growing for his look in Shimit Amin's forthcoming film, Rocket Singh in which the young actor plays a Sardar. Also he doesn't want to reveal his new look. Consequently, Ranbir has decided to not accompany his parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh to Dubai for a holiday.
A source said, "A few days ago, Rishi and Neetu returned from Delhi after completing a tiring one-month schedule for their film together. They decided that they would go to Dubai for a week-long holiday this week."
Explaining why Ranbir was not going to Dubai, the source said, "Rishi and Neetu asked Ranbir to join them, but Ranbir doesn't want anybody to see his beard until it has grown fully. In fact, Ranbir has decided to not step out of his house for the next 15 days. Currently, his beard is scanty and looks a bit funny."
Rishi and Neetu then asked Ranbir to accompany them for at least two days. "But he still refused. It will be a surprise if he changes his mind now. Ranbir hasn't stepped out of his house since the last three weeks after the shooting of Ayan Mukherjee's Wake Up Sid wrapped," added our source.
