While one is not suggesting a couple should be joined at the hip, Preity and Ness usually made a point to attend most dos together. Interestingly Ness's mum Maureen Wadia, who is all praise for daughter-in-law Celina (married to Jeh, her elder son), has never publically acknowledged Preity, getting pretty testy when asked about her, often resorting to a 'no comments' stand. The Preity-Ness relationship has been an onoff one for some time now, with periodic rumours of a split. But this time it seems to be serious. And though Preity laughed it off when asked, one understands that when millions of rupees are involved, personal equations have to be put on the backburner. |
