Salman's calming influence was sorely missed when a fight broke out on his film set
How's this for irony, Salman Khan, who is usually an active participant in fights that happen on and off sets, was sorely missed when the action director and production coordinator of his film Veer, got into a fight and he was not present to cool down the warring parties.
It all happened on Saturday on the sets when Veer was being shot in Jaipur. It was a fisticuff, but this time Salman was not involved; instead the fight broke out between action-director Tinu Verma and production-coordinator Deepak Anand. Tinu bashed up Deepak on the sets over a fight over a vanity van.
According to our source, Tinu hit Deepak and there was total chaos on the sets, and the shooting had to be stalled. "Salman was not on the sets when the fight happened. However, our producer Vijay Galani pacified both of them and Tinu even apologised to Deepak, but he left the schedule on Sunday and has returned to Mumbai."
Tinu Verma confirmed the story and told us what exactly transpired, "Yes it is true that all this happened but it was for a silly reason. When I was coming to Jaipur for this schedule from Jodhpur, I had told Deepak that I needed a vanity van because I was very unwell. I had a stomach upset and needed to use the van frequently.

Verma felt that the fight wouldn't have erupted if Salman was on the sets. He added, "Salman believes in his technicians and takes care of them, but unfortunately he had already left."
