Should RK Production house revive?

What do you guys think? Dont you think its the perfect time for the first family of bollywood to revive their production house?

I mean they have so many working actors in the family! And three of hteir family members are established working actors right now...Ranbir, Rishi and Kareena! Relations between Randhir and Rishi's family seem to have improed since kareena attended the Saawarya premier and greeted Rishi and Neetu.

What do you think?
Think of how many workign actors they have taht can either come back to movies or are already in movies! Ranbir and Kareean can play siblings, Rishi can be their father, even Randhir and Karisma can make a comeback. Why not? Add Neetu adn Babita, both former actresses. I heard Neetu's already making a comeback as well, I think in Love Aaj Kal.

Which reminds me, toss in the sexy nawaab Saif A Khan opposite Kareena, and you have a complete family saga.

Shammi and Shashi are also there. With other families working together: Arora sisters worked together, Khan brotheres worked together, Bachans worked together, Shetty sisters worked together. Why is the biggest family not taking advantage of a production house and so many talented workign actors?

If the brotehrs dont want to direct the film, get a director who's like family to direct. Get Imtiaz Ali! He's already in and outta the house kareean says, coz of Love Aaj Kal.

Yeah it would be fabulous to see the whole Kapoor family in one picture :)

Yes! I don't understand why didn't rishi Kapoor launched his son through RK production? He could had made Karzz remake instead of Saawariya.

Becaues i know that the RK banner revival movie is gonna be something BIG. And I mean big. I think Rishi prolly didnt feel that it was his right to revive the banner for just Ranbir, when Karisma and Kareena hadnt even worked in the banner and had been working for ages. When they revive taht banner, I tell you, it should feature Ranbir and Kareena!

There has never been a bollywood mvoie which focuses on relationship between siblings! It woudl be soemthign completetly hatke!

I say do it! Revive the banner with teh fourth generation of Kapoors and the third! Blockbuster in the making I tell you!

I wouldn't want to watch the movie even if I was paid to. It sounds so much like a soap opera. Days of our Kapoors. Now, if there was to be an actual interesting storyline, yeah, I'd maybe give it a try but too many cooks spoil the broth.

I dont mean throw all of them in there, lol. But those are the options. So many to choose from, and yet htey still dont revive it. I atleast want Ranbir Kareena in tehre wiht Rishi. Another production can have Randhir with someone else. Basically, take advantage of the fact that you have so many talented artistes in teh family.

Ohhh.

In that case, I agree with you. They've got enough artistes in their house to pull it off. Personally, I'd like to see them do a movie on homosexuality with Kareena and Karishma in leading roles xD mostly because movies like this have been seldom made in Bollywood (baring Fire, I can't think of a single one). Nothing explicit, mind you, but a realistic portrayal of it. Not an insensitive slapstick comedy by any means (Not something like Dostana) but a senstive portrayal, wherein they destroy archetypes and provide a different perspective.

That is a tall order!!!!! I am old enough to have been a benificiary of the RK Banner. I have a close connection with it.......don't ask how, because I will not tell ever!!. But in my humble opinion, there is not one single person ...not even Mr. Ranbir Kapoor, who has the vision, accumen, or savvy of Raj Kapoor.

I wish these family members would leave that legacy alone, since whatever they do will fall totally SHORT and in honesty insult everything Raj Kapoor did for Bollywood.!!!!! To me he was MR. BOLLYWOOD!!! The ONLY man WORTHY OF the BOLLYWOOD Millinium title........and not that amitabab person.

whocares... a production house needs creativity more than it needs family together.. because the creativity team will have the actual creativity together to be able to actually make it work..

Bunbutt Jee, they need to carry the legacy forward. If they feel they dont have the creative mind, then they certainly have the money to hire a few fresh talents to get the planning into process. Raj Kapoor was a true showman of bollywood, no doubt. But its a pity to see that despite having such talented offsprings in the same profession, they prestigious RK banners has not been revived.

Theatre, what I mean by the family is talented individuals who certainly have the backgroud and experience of pulling off a production house. Its not as if its a new business to them. It just needs revival and with Kareena and Ranbir flying sky high, now's the perfect time to do it!
