Sonam Kapoor's not fighting with Aishwarya

Sonam Kapoor's first movie 'Sawaariya' might be a dud, but she has got her share of fame. She has been on magazine covers, has been prominent on the social circuit and has also been seen with her dad at various global events related to her dad Anil Kapoor's internationally acclaimed film 'Slumdog Millionaire'.

She also hit the big league when she was signed by Loreal; Paris in their 'Dream Team' and she joined the likes of Aishwarya Rai, Beyonce, Penelope Cruz and Eva Longoria.

It was earlier reported that Sonam was preferred over Ash because she was younger. But Ash reportedly later said that she was asked to endorse a fairness cream and that's why she opted out.

Sonam however has a totally different story to tell.

She's said, "Ash and I both are the ambassadors of Loreal, however some reporters created mischief, by saying I am promoting the fairness cream. Mine is a white perfect cream meant for skin pigmentation and fairness. It's a deep pigmentation cream meant for Asian skin as girls in their twenties face a lot of hormonal problems in this age. Also Ash had not refused it as she was not offered this product in the first place."

Well, so the young actress wishes to clear the air and let the world know that she's in the good books of Ash and doesn't see her as competition. This sure is a true blue Bollywood dame who knows how to handle the B-Town game right!

Well, I think it's wrong for any actor or actress to endorse such cremes, unless it really is for small pigmented areas....but these commercials definitely portray the cremes as a overall skin lightener for the face not just for pigmentation. I completely disagree with such endorsements.

I agree I used to use Fair and Lovely in my early early teens because it used to smell like roses😆 but it didn't turn me all gori gori, actually funny story but my Taayi Ji (Aunt) has been using Fair & Lovely for over 20 years and though I love her she is not even close to being fair. She is in her 60's now and still uses it.

Ok enough jokes, Fair and Lovely did come out with this anti-mark cream that I used a few years ago and though it didn't turn me white it did get rid of my pigmentation marks.

I never wanted to look Gori but always wanted my skinto be healthy and radiant.

Sameis with the hairs. I have dark black and I so want to use the colors but then I feel why. Nothing wrong but as long as the things are natural it is good. But yes once you start having grey hairs then you should.

Why fairness creams - Drink Safi. I never had skin problems as I always drank that. Wash face with besan and milk etc. Home based products. Believe it they do help.
Things are changing. Everything should comeout of a tube I guess.😉

Celebs can endorse whatever they want, it's up to the people to buy it or not. I personally, I wouldn't b/c I'm against it, but I can't tell someone not to buy it! I think it's good everything is cleared up now!

Lol..She is just a BA of that product. She is not the one who makes it. It's her job to promote it . That's it. It's upto ppl whether they should buy it or not. Well, anyway I would not buy it bcoz I got fair skin.
